Induction -- Day Five
Two more days and our first week will be over! Yeah!!!
Now I'm just trying to start planning my eating for the weekend so I'm not blindsided by hunger and fall off.
Last night we had pork tenderloins with some cauliflower and spinach...YUMMY! I felt REALLY GOOD afterwards and the rest of the night. My tummy was happy and satisfied. So, maybe the worst is behind us...we are all coming through this together.
I didn't get online much last night because my brother called and said he was stopping in for a visit on his way from Chicago to Louisiana, so we cleaned until 10 pm and went to bed. I've done some odd and end things this morning, but I think we're basically ready for him to come. I suggested ribeyes or hamburgers on the outside grill and he said he's been wanting a grilled hamburger, so it will work in with Induction really well. Yeah! I'm so excited about seeing him -- it has been about two years. Ever since my Mom died (1996) he has hibernated from life (it seems). No word from him unless I try to contact him...but in the past month I've heard from him about three times! It makes me really happy that he is finally reaching out.
Anyway, I thought it might help if I post the meals I plan to cook this weekend on this thread -- I just don't have time this morning to look them up so I will try to do it at lunch today from work. If anyone else wants to try to plan their weekend food and post it here, it might help all of us. (Sometimes I run out of ideas.) I will be stopping at the grocery on my way home from work so I'm open to anything at this point.
We had some leftover quiche from yesterday for breakfast and I'm happy to say that it is good leftover. Yummy!
Well, I need to run and finish getting ready. I hope you have a great start to your day!
Your little Induction buddy,
~Kat

Great attitude Donky

! Why don't you join the March Abs Challenge with Urban and I? I haven't done a sit up/crunches in forever, so I am starting small. I have pledged to do 35 a day, 1085 for the month. It is a small start to exercise, but it is something. I do crunches. Come on...you know you wanna!
