As most of you know, I had some pretty major abdominal surgery during the second week of February. All went really quite well. Unfortunately, the day after I returned from the hospital my Mom had her first chemotherapy treatment, and had a very, very bad reaction to it. We almost lost her!
I immediately flew down to NC and, although she pulled through, and is doing quite well, now, I decided to just stay down there during my own recuperation (my poor Dad!). Her hard drive had died, and it wasn't the time to worry about getting it repaired, so I had no computer access while there. In my haste, I hadn't even bothered to take along my own laptop.
I got home this afternoon, and plan to go back to work, tomorrow. I'm really glad to be home, and glad to be feeling like my old self, again. It's great to be back on the board, again, as well. I've really missed my ADBB family!
