    Sorry guys saying my goodbyes to ADBB

    Thanks to all of you really nice people I have met here..I wish I could stay here and continue my journey here the few short days I have been here you have helped me so much. I wish I could stay here for you to continue to help me on my journey as for me to continue to help me on yours, but it seems that ADBB isn't the right place for me. I have already grown so fond of so many of you..good luck with the rest of your journey!!!!

    Why are you leaving? Have you decided Atkins is not the right plan for you? If not, I don't understand why you'd want to leave. I've found this is a great place for support, encouragement and information.

          I'm glad you've changed your mind. I truly believe you'll find the overwhelming majority of people here supportive and cheering you along as you progress towards your goal.

              Chrissie what the heck happened? Obviously someone said something to offend you, but don't leave, you are in the right place believe it or not.

              Some people enjoy bluntness and confrontation. If that is not your style don't respond to the comments. There are hundreds of different personalities and points of view on this site. None any more or less important than yours!!

                I don't know what happened to offend you, but it might help to know that I've been a member of this board for three years, and it's only been recently that I've seen several mean-spirited postings. I say, if someone was overly harsh (intended or not), just take whatever is valuable for your success and leave the rest behind.
                For the most part though, I've found this board to be full of amazing and inspirational people who will bend over backward to offer their wisdom and support. And sometimes we do need a "slap of reality" to keep us on track.

                  I would just take it as life on the Internet. There are going to be a few bad apples when a site grows like this one has. I been on car forums and had people blast me for the car I drive, I have been on a dog forum and people bash my dog. It happens, just push through to your goal and don't feed the trolls by getting worked up by them.

                    If it is others outside of the board that have said something to offend you - prove them wrong! You will hear so many things from people who have not been educated about Atkins or have not read the book. Best way to put them in their place is to show them that Atkins works and that it is indeed healthy for you. Good luck!

                      I have been on a dog forum and people bash my dog.
                      Donky, I can't believe someone bashed your dog!!! Now I can take a lot of crap, but DO NOT talk baddly about my dog! My kids can be brats, my husband can be rude, but my dog is ALWAYS sweet and happy that I'm around!! So dog bashing is NEVER tolerated!

                        thanks guys I over it to be honest it got to me this morning and I shouldn't have let it. I am just going to ignore the people who get to me..there are WAY too many good people in this place who cheer you on and help you on your journey to let people get in your way!

                          I'm glad your staying! Sometimes you just have to ignore stupid people...because it just ain't worth the time of day to worry about something someone says who you don't even know.

                          There are so many people here who can be upbuilding and helpful so it's a good thing for you to hang around!
