        Morning All,

Hope you are all waking up happy and healthy today!

I am, despite that my 14 year old son got snarky with me on the way to school. I guess those teenage hormones are raging, becuase he has always been such a good and respectful kid. Oy...how many years does this last? He wants to go to our Governors School of Science and Mathmatics for his Jr. and Sr. year. He will have to board, becuase it is three hours away. At first I was like, "noooo, not my little boy!" But maybe by in two years when we have to decide I will be "oh yes, it's a GREAT idea!"

I think there is one way I can tell, I'm losing or not bloated...my stomach is not sticking out past my boobs anymore. (Sorry Donky!)

Donky, ten pounds in one week!!! Hoo Ra~You Da Man!!!! That is really incredible!!!
Yes, vicariously living through your weign-ins is working for me!

Kat, glad to see you are feeling well enough to post! I don't think the sun rises on this site until you start our thread! Your puppy is as much of a lap dog as mine...like, not at all. My dog weighs 55lbs. I am by nature a big dog lover, but in the last year or two, I have been warming up to the little yappers too. We found a Yorkie Maltese mix last summer and we brought it home and bathed it and of course, called the vets offices and SPCA to let them know we found a cute little dog. The next day the owner had signs all over the neighborhood. He was a cutie though. And Ember was thrilled, because it's not often that she has sleepover guests.

Urban, morning, rise and shine honey!

Ok, I'm going to get some breakfast today, so as not to repeat yesterday!

        See Ya,
        Erin

              Hey Erin!

That school sounds pretty neat -- if I was a kid, I might want to go to it too.

I have a co-worker who is going through rough times with her son. She thinks she's having a nervous breakdown because he doesn't listen and she doesn't know what to do with him. She is a single mom and doesn't really have the strong arm of a man to lean on. The father is in the same area, but not too much involved. I suggested that the son live with the father and visit the mother since she is not able to handle him. It is very stressful on her at this time.

Woo Hoo! about your tummy! Is that sitting or standing? For me, sitting is the worst. But, the nightgown I've been wearing had gotten a little tight in the hips, but I noticed that it fits like normal now. Yeah!

Just a few more days and we weigh and measure!

That's sad that you had to give the little doggie back! You ever think of getting another little buddy for Ember? We think about getting a buddy for Shadow, but we are not sure how he would take it since he bit my MIL at Christmas. There is some hussy Bassett Hound that comes around and he just loves her! So, maybe it would be okay if it was a female doggie?

(giggle) You're too funny about the posting!! But, you make me feel good! Thank you for the sweet words!!

Did you not eat breakfast yesterday?

Well, I hope today goes by smoothly for you and will be over before you know it. Nine days down; five days to go! Woo Hoo!

Thanks for sharing your journey with everyone!!

It is nice to have a home office and keep my favorite forums minimized during the day for when work gets annoying. I was so inspired by last nights weigh in that I woke up early and got my cardio done this morning.

                  Re: Induction -- Day Nine!

It's agreed then — the sun doens't rise on this site until Kkat posts our morning Induction thread! Good morning to you all! I don't have a headache, per se, but little shooting pains in my head. Sigh. (Grabbing the Tylenol)
I woke up early and did 30 min of Cardio before getting the kids up. We had a hectic morning and I'm pretty crabby (think it's PMS) but doing good on my food so far. The scale went UP three lbs — which I guess should be proof enough that it will soon be TOM. I'm still waiting for that energy boost, because I really feel tired all the time. I have had terrible insomnia. I'm vowing to drink my water today!
                  HW: 217, lost 57 lbs. in 2003/04

I promised myself I'd never see 200 on the scale again!

                    Re: Induction -- Day Nine!

Kat, tell your co-worker to be strong! It is hard for mom's because we want our kids to be happy, but ultimately what we want is for them to be good, responsible and productive citizens. Raising sons, I now see how blessed I am to have my husband with me. It is sooo obvious right now, that my 14 year old ds wants to be like his dad and is looking to him as a model. I mean I can visibley see it happening. Which is great, but hard on us mommies when they begin to pull away. He would never talk to his dad with such sarcasim or to me like that in front of his dad!!! He knows better, but needs a lot more reminding these days. Oh well, he will have some time on Friday to think about it, instead of going to the movies with his friends like he had planned.
If your co-workers son has stopped listening to her, has she made is life extremely difficult yet? I mean NO TV, ipod, computer, barebones bedroom? If that doesn't work then maybe his dad would be the better choice to live with, but only if his dad wants to be completely involved. Your friend is not alone. If I were her I would look to my church or community programs for help. A bazillion parents have been through it, so she should look for help.
Did you not eat breakfast yesterday?
And , I didn't eat breakfast yesterday. I did much better today. Had the old standby eggs and bacon. Wanted to save the left over taco salad for lunch.
I have chicken breasts thawing for dinner, but haven't decided what to do
                    with them yet. Any suggestions?

Hussy Bassett ~ We say those kind of things about male dogs that come sniffing around Ember too!

Donky, you have motivated me to do my crunches! I am going to do them right now. Well after I post this!

I am in ketosis big time now....dark purple!!!!!

We're gonna "Bring It" just like Donky did, when we weigh in!!!

Good for you getting in excersize so early, they say that is the best way to do it!
I hope your energy will come, I feel like I have energy during the day, but by nine o'clock I am ready for bed and how!

I do that at work too. When I get a break I come here and post or read a little and get remotivated.

Have you been thinking of what you're going to do after Induction? Extended Induction or Ongoing Weight Loss?

Thanks Erin. I'm acutally feeling a little better. The weird head thingy went away, so I didn't need any Tylenol. And I'm drinking my water, which I really have not been doing this week.
I'm not worried about the three lbs. In the past before TOM, I'd gain a lb. or two, then after I'd get a nice Whooshie and lose a few extra. (Sorry Donky for all this gross FEMALE talk)
I'm having a nice green salad for lunch with chicken breast. Hope you all have a nice lunch!
