A new incentive!

If you think that I was focused this last week or so. Well I am going to turn it up a few notches. I just booked tickets to fly back to my old hometown (Rockford, IL). I have only been back twice in 4 years since I moved to Las Vegas, well because it's Rockford, IL (if you have been there you would understand).

Well it looks like I will be running into someone who was very special to me before I left (that is as detailed as I am going to get for now) and the last time this person saw me I weighed about 260 or so. From now on 1000% effort on both diet and exercise.


P.S. I know this may be the wrong forum, but most the people I have gotten support from are in the Second Time Around Club.

Good for you! It makes me smile to think that YOU are smiling at the prospect of....well a special encounter! I am glad you are motivated, we need incentives like that. Good luck and keep up the great work!

Good for you!! I was just at our local Margdi Gras celebration and saw a guy from high school - I played it cool and acted like I didn't know him (he thought he was the hottest thing back then), but he was like that's you? It was kinda of funny. So, go for it - it's a great feeling when you run into them!

I am not necessarily going to woo her, but just the chance that I can reveal my new self around that person is incentive enough.

Of course by that time I may have a few Atkins friendly alcoholic beverages and that may turn into wooing.

When are you going back? What is your mini goal for that trip?

May 4th - 8th I think if I can get to 199 or below I would be happy. That is 8 weeks to lose only 25lbs so I should be able to get below that.
