    Induction -- Day Ten!

    Bing! Bing! Bing!

Up and at'em! Rise and Shine!

Ummm...I'm eating more of my spinach lasagna for breakfast! Yummy!

This will be my first day back at work...a good and bad thing...I hate leaving Matt who now has 101 degree fever. All four girls in our office got this one at a time and now he has it. It just seems to be spreading and spreading. He has taken some Airborne to see if that would help some -- we don't know yet.

Well, we're on Hump Day and it is downhill from here! Weeeee!

Hey a great day, Induction Buddies!

      Re: Induction -- Day Ten!

      Great morning to ya all.
I can't wait to try that spinach lasagna!! It sounds wonderful! Right now I'm trying to decide whether or not to have eggs, or something else. I may as well eat the eggs, as I have the time to cook them. That way it saves the already prepared things for when I'm in a hurry or famished right?!
I just found out we will be going up to the mountains (North Carolina) this weekend. I am already making a list of food to buy and take with me. We are going for a family members birthday, so I will have to be strong, after the candles are blown out.
We'll be back monday, but not in time for a morning weigh in, so I guess I will have to post all that on Tuesday. I'm a tad nervous that I won't be able to stick to the purest of induction foods. It is what I want, so I somehow have to pull it off.

Well, have a great morning everyone. Gotta love hump day! (I had a roomie in college, who used to greet us with "It's hump day ladies!" every Wednesday and we always ate breakfast for dinner that night. Good memories...)

Thanks for the continued support Wanna!!

Here with you all for day 10! I'm starting the day off feeling pretty good (got my fingers crossed that this will be a HEADACHE FREE DAY.) Had bacon and eggs for breakfast. I work late on Wednesdays, so I brought my lunch and dinner with me. This is the night that our office always orders out, so I'll need extra willpower not to succcumb to whatever temptation they gorge on. (Last week it was pizza.)
Still having terrible insomnia. I think I'll start a thread on it in the Health Chat forum.
          Good luck everyone!

Pretty normal start to the day here. I am really settling in and it is definetly becoming a habit for me.

Eeek! I feel for you, Erin! A birthday party!! Is this a place with people who are going to pressure you into "just take one bite -- it won't hurt"? What strategies have you planned? I have my MIL's b'day coming up on the 21st and then Matt's in April. I'm not sure how to handle those things yet. (Maybe bring olives, cheeses, pork rinds, make a dinner ahead that I froze and bring it?) I asked Matt what kind of cake he wants and he said, "Anything that you can eat." So, I'm not sure if by that time on OWL that there will be a cake recipe that will be nice enough for a b'day...? (If I'm on the berries rung, I like strawberries and whipped cream and could survive on that if people were eating cake around me.) If possible, let me know what you plan...or I guess we could post another thread for ideas and see if any of the veterans could help us...? I'm cheering for you to come through so you can come back and weigh in.

I'm so excited about weighing and measuring on Monday!! All our hard work/effort will finally show! (And my sickness... )

That's fun about the "hump day" get together. Too bad we all didn't live close and we could invite the others over for dinner during the week that way we could share in the cooking since we all work (I think) and then really only worry about the weekends to plan our meals. Would be fun and easier, ay?

I hope you had a good day! (I'm know...I'm late posting...)

Thanks! Poor thing was running fever tonight and was ready for bed at 7 pm. He's fast asleep right now...I'm making sure he's taking medicine so it will knock this out soon, hopefully.

How'd your day go? Still headache free? Energy kick in yet? How'd it go working late tonight?

I sure hope the insomia disappears soon!! I wonder if the headaches are related to the insomnia? Fix one and the other goes away?
Still getting all your water in?

                    Best wishes to YOU too!

Yeah! I'm hoping this go 'round that it becomes habit for me too!

                        Hi kkat
Have you browsed Linda's lowcarb recipe site for some 'legal' cakes recipes yet? I am sure you will find a few to try there.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

No, I hadn't, but that's a great idea! I've made several of her Induction recipes and I'm sure her desserts will be just as good.

                          Thanks for the tip!!
