Yeah to all the induction graduates! Congraulations! I just finished my 2 week induction on saturday. I lost a total of 12 lbs. The majority was during the first week - 10 lbs. I only lost about 2 lbs the second week, but I think the "monthly visitor" had a lot to with it. I've decided to extend my induction for 1-2 weeks. My cravings are definitely under control. As we speak someone is popping popcorn in the office and usually I would be gravitating towards that scent like one of the cartoon charachters floating in the air, but now I'm just enjoying the smell, and my tummy isnt growling or anything! Yeah to Atkins!!! Keep up the good work everyone1

Congrats on all the pounds lost everyone!!!

It really is great to get through induction and see and feel the hard work on the scale and measuring tape. (I'll be finding out tomorrow)

I couldn't help but grin when I read your posts Kat and Urban and Donky! Sharing the beginning of this adventure with you guys has been a great experience!!

Anyone who wants to join me and Donky for two more weeks of induction is welcome!

I look forward to joining the rest of you in OWL soon.

OK I couldn't help myself since some of our classmates graduated today. I guess I am one of the "special" kids that got held back. I broke down and weighed in tonight. 5lbs for a total of 15 in 2 weeks. I expected the slow down and 15lbs puts me right on track to get where I need to be.

I was actually afraid of my bathroom scale today. I stalled as long as I could! But...I am happy to report that I lost weight!

LOL...Just playin' guys. I am going to tell you how much. My goal was not to see the 230's at all. Well, I didn't make it but came excruciatingly close!!!
I lost 10 pounds putting me at 230. And I am ashamed to say that I didn't ever get around to measuring. I promise to do that today.
Thanks for all of the encouragement along the way everyone!!!!!

We're on our way...the first part of the journey is over...and it won't be long and we'll be halfway there!

I'd like to go down about two more dress sizes for my next goal...and I know that I will be able to do that with exercise...

What is everyone else's next goals?

Way too lazy to measure. The scale and how I feel is good enough I guess.

Moochiecat just posted this in someone else's journal:

Find something that weighs 11 pounds and carry it around for a while...it's pretty amazing to think that something that heavy was once attached to your body! (end of quote)

Isn't that amazing the weight we have lost if we imagined carrying bags of sugar to equal that amount!! It would be pretty heavy...yet when it comes off you can't tell (in heaviness). Pretty cool! No wonder it is a strain on your heart!!
