  • Miserable scale sitting there laughing at me

Morning friends! Well Terry my friend, I finally got my way (Nicole Richie and DJ A.M. back together) hee hee sneaky eh? (whistles as she walks away)

Here I am doing my morning weigh in, staring at the scale staring back at me, its like its taunting me. It hasn't moved in weeks. Just as I was about to smash its digital fineness into my bathroom wall, I caught a glimpse of my butt in the mirror. Putting the scale back on the floor safely (nice scale...pretty scale)
I lift up my night shirt and what do I see? A bod that looks pretty good, can see where I'm toning, where my boobs used to be, lol and that awful tummy smile disapearing. If I were to judge my weight loss by what I see, it LOOKS like I've lost 10 to 15 lbs, but the scale LIES..you hear me buddies, it LIES!!!!!!! I am wearing a large which I haven't wore since I was 175 to 185 and I am 209 (go figure)

So now that my scale is safely back where it belongs, I ask the experts, explain this to me again? Am I gaining muscle? Is that why the scale isn't moving but I look like it is? I work out on my treadmill 1 hour every single day. I use arm bars for that up and down motion (like cross country skiing) through some of my work out too.

It feels like such a chore getting to Onederland, I know I will get there but GEEZ Louise! I'm working so hard!

Starmaker, I'm not a good one to give this advice...but you should be measuring. Especially if you are doing all of that excersize. They say when the scale stops moving, your inches continue to change.
    Stick with it!!!!!!!
I use to be a scale addict, but now I am afraid of the darn thing. I try not to use the bathroom it is in! So I don't fight with myself about stepping on it!

    You're doing great!!!

Your scale may be laughing, but it seems your treadmill is crying "Why do you work me so hard, Starmaker??" I am so impressed that you are doing an hour a day.... It's inspiring.

      Sigh...wish I had better knees.

You deserve every inch of that loss Star! That treadmill has turned out to be your very best friend. Inches are what we all see not the number on the scale. Keep up the great work you are doing and you will be well paid for it in no time at all.
