  • Need a Pep Talk

    Ok, Still at 170#. Only lost 2# so far and I am on day 11. I know the scale moves slow, but anyone of you experts want to take a quick look at what I'm eating see if anything jumps out at you? I did vary from induction this AM w/protein & Hood carb countdown shake w/husks. My menus are all up to date, but I don't add all my activities. We've cut down a 200 yr. old tree & have been cutting wood and loading on dump trailer since Sat., so not a lot of time to add everything in. I'm exercising at least every other day....just looking for some encouragement from you guys - kind of down today.

    FYI: Supplements (Basic3 and Ess. Oils) came in mail yesterday (Yea!). Also, tried the parm. chicken wings that they call "Heroin Wings". They were right to name them that - WOW I'm addicted! They were terrific!

    Here's my fitday menus if anyone wishes to take a peek and sees a tweek or two that needs to be done.

    My advice would be to cut out the shakes and bars. They can cause stalls.

    Also, it seems like you are not eating enough veggies on most days. Get your 3 cups in!

      Wow. Can't believe I missed that. Need more veggies definitely. The bar and shake I had was an emergency kind of thing because I was on the run. Better safe than sorry! Thanks for the input.

        I hate scales- they are a tool of the devil (LOL). Hoe are your clothes fitting? When I lost all my weight, the starting point I had was my weight from a doctor visit. for the rest of the year, I went solely by sizes lost (from a 22 to an . The next time I weighed was much later for my surgery to get rid of all the skin, otherwise I would not have known my weight! If scales discourage you (they lie anyway-heehee), you can do this without their help. Remember, I am the biggest sloth of them all and if I can do this ANYBODY CAN!!! Remember, this works & there are lots of us here to testify to that!
