  • Dreaming of Onederland!

I am at 233 now...it seems so far off, but I am dying to be in onderland. That would be such a great accomplishment. When I first started I didn't too much care for the mini goals. I wanted to keep my eyes focused on my main goals. But now I am thinking of setting a mini goal of 195, but I am not sure of what kind of time limit to give myself...first I was thinking...fourth of july...but I think I can accomplish it before then. What do you guys think?
    Goal Date July 05, 2007

My mini goal reached by September 30,2006

FWIW, I think its highly important to set mini goals.

To answer your queston if you can lose 30 lbs in 3 months. Its possible as everything is possible. Just do your best. and good luck.

The problem with setting time-oriented weightloss goals is what will you do if your body decides not to co-operate in the time?!?

So many people have posted that not achieving a weight/time goal made them think about giving up the WOE and made it much harder for them to stay on track !

I always think is is better to set time-goals for things you CAN control - like eating according to plan (cheatfree) for xx days, or exercising for xx minutes x days a week, or drinking xx ounces of water each day!

Weightloss milestones are great to celebrate when you reach them but dont risk pressurising yourself too much by setting a date for them.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I'm with Elizellen on this one Chrissie. How much have you lost since you started Mar. 20? That would be a good indication of how your body is handling the diet and your level of metabolism.

I'm with Elizellen on this one too. I've set mini-goals and as you can see in my ticker that's what I use. It gives me a visual. When I get to 218, I'll add another ticker. I don't put a time frame on it because I'm just plain scared that I won't achieve it...too much pressure. I've also got some other goals like, I bought an outfit I absolutely adore in a size too small for me. That will be another mini-goal...to fit in that outfit regardless of what the scale says my weight is. I do six week exercise plans for a time measured type goal. I also increase intensity in my workouts...HIIT for cardio and adding weight for my weight training.
