  • Sitting on the threshold

Morning everyone! Feeling a little nostalgic and whispy (now THERES a word) today as I'm about to cross over to Onederland very very soon, I wanted to tell you all how great its been here. The support is second to none. No one coddled me and held my hand, they just told it straight and encouraged me to pick myself up and redo redo redo until I got it right.

For those of you who are just peeking into STAC or the ADBB, make sure you read posts, find a thread you can relate to and start posting. We WANT to get to know you and help you. I lurked on this board for so long before I finally signed on and I wish I had let myself be known before then as I could have had the guidance I had way before Nov 2004

Stubborn chick that I am, I tried doing things my way, didn't work, once I made up my mind that the long termers here knew what the heck they were talking about and took their advice seriously, things started happening.

Thanks to each and every one of you here on ADBB who kept me motivated and booted my butt. Thanks 2Big for making me mad, I needed that, you were right, you were ALWAYS right. Thanks Terry for being awesome and being my friend, and thanks to all the newcomers who said I was their inspiration. Makes you darn accountable when someone thinks you are an inspiration, can't let them down so you try harder.

I know Onderland for me means that I have succeeded. Losing what I have to lose after that will be a cakewalk because now I finally know what I'm doing thanks to you all (and L-Glutamine my miracle cravings cure lol)

So I am going to devote my time here (years) to helping those who need it like you all helped me. The best group of mods in the WWW are found here. Even when they are frustrated with you, they remember how it was once upon a time and take heart, being nice to you even when you really needed a dummy slap. Well except 2Big, she always gave the sound dummy slap that was needed heh heh

I know I am crossing over either today or tomorrow, I can really feel it. I just wanted to share my happiness with you all and thank those who deserve this praise the most. You're amazing and I wish I had an award for you all.

Time to make another donation to this board, don't know how else to show my gratitude!

    Full speed ahead

You forgot to mention one very important person, without their encouragement, determination and wonderful attitude your journey wouldn't have happened. Not to mention they never gave up on you, kept you coming back time after time and wouldn't let you give up, this person loves you and knows you are worth the journey to health and happiness, that you deserve to be healthy and happy! - because even with all the wonderful people on this board, this one person is the one you owe it all to ---- its YOU!!!! Yes you Starmaker!

You are doing awesome !!!! Yeah you!!!!!

Ok here is the newbie question of the day, what is "onederland" when do you "cross over" and why do you cross over? Are you now on maintanence? Is it "over?" and you are leaving....

                    Hey Jess!

The famous "Onderland" is actually when you go from weighing in the 200's into the 100's...crossing over to the other side.

Then you may also hear about "Twoterville" meaning you are crossing over from the 300's into the 200's.

Just something fun to help us along our journey...

OhKaaaaayy, now i get it. Gosh, since I don't use scales, I wonder when I will go to onederland??? I wonder......Hey how will I know I made it to the end? Might have to re-think my "scale-less-ness"
Here, I thought the gal was graduating, but oh my I could not see that reflection in her stats....I was so confused there.

                        No problem.

Some people on the program don't follow a scale...and some do. You measure your progress the way you want. Then just post when you hit your mini-goals or your goals and we can celebrate with you!
