Just venting...
Although I started (again) back on March 31, I wasn't as true to the letter by Induction standards after about a week or so. Acting as if I was in the upper rungs of OWL, throwing back nuts and seeds into my gullet, my weight loss has left little to be desired (for me...especially in light that I have been working out so ding-dang much).
So, on Tuesday evening (subsequent to joining an ADBB Memorial Day Challenge) ... I decided I was going to do an extended induction thru May -- for REAL this time. Went to the market, stocked up on Induction-friendly goodies, made a commitment to do some cooking (THATS where I tend to sluff off) and prepared myself for my Induction Flu. Since I am a constant revisiter to the Atkins lifestyle and being sensitive to my body's reactions to it, I just KNEW I would have a splitting headache for most of yesterday evening. Call it crazy, but usually my body doesn't wait to succumb to going cold turkey off the sugars and processed devilments -- the SAME day I start Induction is the SAME day my head hurts. LOL... but alas, it didn't happen. Could I be getting away with bypassing the Induction Flu? Those were my happy thoughts this morning when I woke up. Those thoughts have come to a halt...lol
About an hour ago, I started feeling crappy. No real headache... just feeling pretty foggy in the head. Just enough to annoy me. For the life of me, I couldn't understand why. (Clearly I'd forgotten that my silly tail had started Induction again). Lo and behold, I sign onto the boards today to do my usual reading when it strikes me... EUREKA! Induction Flu? Could it be? I guess cuz I haven't really been eating a lot of 'bad' stuff per se, it's going easy on me? LMAO Well, I'm just thankful that I don't have that splitting pain I usually get. But sheesh.. I am so ready to go and lay down somewhere.
