I'm so glad to see this forum still here. I was last here 2 yrs ago, and was 20 lbs from my goal when (I let) life derail me.
But, I'm back. I started induction this last week and on my 5th day, my friday, I started craving homemade popcorn. I gave in. Popped it in olive oil and smothered butter all over it. I was in heaven until I'd had my fill and the guilt set in!
I worried all night (literally) that I'd so blown it, doubling my resolve to not do that again.
This morning, I weighed the same and was still in ketosis. Hmmm.
So, my question is, since carb counts are cut by the amount of fiber in the food, would my doubling up on my metamucil (fiber) right after I ate my bowl of popcorn have helped cut the carb count, which would give me a different 'net' carb amount ?
