  • 12 pounds gone!

    Last week, I weighed in with 5 pounds gone. Today I weighed, 12 pounds gone!


    I'm not sure if I am experiencing some serious induction flu, though. Last night was terrible. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, body aches. I went to a movie with friends, & had to leave 20 minutes into it because I felt so bad. And today, massive headache. Ugh!


    But, other than the feeling terrible...I'm very happy about my weight loss.

    Sounds very much like that induction flu. Congratulations. 12 pounds wow! Good for you!

      14 days in thatis nopt a normal for Atkins symptom more like food poisoning/ virus symptom unless you tanked up on sugar alcohol foods.

      Congrats on the great job you are doing working your Atkins to shrink yourself!

        It's definitely not sugar alcohols.

            Other than the dreaded constipation that I suffered through the first time (not yet this time), I've experienced no real bad effects. Sounds like real flu or some sort of food poisoning to me also.

              I try to exercise about an hour a day. About 30 mins of walking on the treadmill, & close to 30 mins of aerobics.


              P.S.
              It was definitely food poisoning. Three other coworkers I went to lunch with on Friday were also sick all weekend!
