    2big - generally how long will the body retain after a new exercise program? maybe that is part of the problem.. I got back into exercise mode on June 1... it's been just over 3 weeks..

      it should be coming off when your muscles get used to the new to them load. Brook does 5 + pounds of fluid weight when she changes exercise plans but itis usually come after week 2 from her posts. I haven't done any new to me exercises since back in 2003 so I can't tell you how long. hwo are your inches coming with the new cardio?

        I havent lost any inches so far but I am trying to be positive and considering that perhaps they are going from spots that I have not measured.. I will keep trucking anyway and hope that soon I will see results.. thanks for your feedback

          check out the measuring spots the 6WEC challenge folk use. and as Brook says don't forget to double your loss for arm and leg numbers unless you decide to measure both.

              When i first started atkins...I wasm told that sometimes a piece of candy would kick start the weight loses after a stall.
              I know thats far from Atkins ideaology but I swear it worked for me...so I dunno..drink loads of water...that will sooo help.

                Thanks for the encouragement, all... I am keeping at it... see what happens. I weighed this morning and I am actually UP 5.5 lbs. I know this isn't fat.. I'm probably just retaining water or something. Not my time of month right now, and I haven't eating much sodium, so who knows..? the body is a weird thing. Either way, I am not going to let that get to me. I'm sure next time I weigh that will be gone. I will probably do measurements and weight weekly on Sundays from now on. We'll see what happens next week!
