  • Induction for those who travel a lot

I spend most of my time on airplanes and in hotels since I am a flight attendant. I ended up having to quit my Atkins diet because one day I was so hungry and I ended up just eating whatever was around I went own hill from there. I want to start back on induction but would like some tips from others who travel all the time. I can't always keep things refrigerated. BTW, when I started Atkins a while back I had a daytime job and a normal schedule and so it was easy to keep up with. I do have an insulated lunch box that I could keep food in and I could possibly put my stuff where we keep the ice on the plane. But still, I won't always have that option. Rarely do I have access to a microwave. What kinds of induction friendly foods travel well without going bad, especially if I am gone for a week at a time? Thanks.

Good question and since I did a lot of travelling in my last life (before I retired don't ya know) I found the same thing.
Fresh veggies and Dressing Dip worked well for me. ( Can you get some of those little packages of dressing) Also, rollups, lettuce - lunch meat - cheese, would do well in an insulated bag. Hard boiled eggs are pretty safe, you could probably mash them up with a fork and get those mayo - mustard packages and a sliced dill pickle and make yourself a little egg salad and roll it up in a lettuce leaf.
    Chesse sticks always work
There are not a lot of choices, so make sure that when you are home, you treat yourself to some great Atkins meals. I had one last night, I grilled a steak, onion slices, and a tossed salad with avocados,
