Has anyone else had problems with anxiety during induction? I've been through Induction before w/out this, but it's driving me crazy this time! I've got this constant nervous, worried twist in my gut and I can feel my heart pounding like there's an axe-murderer over my shoulder. My hands are trembling . . . it's like I'm absolutely, utterly terrified of something -- but I don't know what it is.

I'm completely 100% caffeine-free for the first time in years, so it's not caffeine. And I'm avoiding artificial sweeteners for the first time EVER. Is it possibly part of the withdrawal?

How long are you caffeine free?
Wow, I feel for you. I know that anxiety fear. Hope it subsides for you. If not, definitely call your doctor!

you could certainly be dealing with withdrawl. are you getting all of your supplements and water? hang in there... it'll pass.

        Re: Anxiety

I weaned myself gradually off the coffee this time. Cut back to one cup per day, then a half, and have been without for almost two weeks now.

I haven't been great about the supplements, though. Maybe that's part of it. I have found that taking my supplements at the same time as my BC pills makes me nauseous, so I take my BC first thing in the morning and plan on taking the supplents about an hour later. Then I forget. But if I'm going to forget one or the other, I'd rather forget the supplement than the BC!

Sounds like withdrawl to me. But, really - you should double check with your doctor just to be safe.

          Hope this helps.

true true... i flip out if my wife forgets her BC! my suggestion is: get your supplements together for the day... put them in a small ziplock bag and lay that bag on top of what you plan to each for lunch or even dinner that day... say you plan to make a steak for lunch... well, lay your bag of supplements on top of that steak, so when you reach for the food, you grab your supplements as well. can't forget that way, and it gives you a few hours after you take your BC.
