  • Lousy stupid sucky scales

I am addicted to the scales. I admit it. Every morning I weigh and every morning I get peeved because my weight has not changed. I am going to do my LAST weigh-in on Saturday, July 1. Then, I am throwing my fricking scales out. Seriously. This is way too discouraging. I'll do my measurements weekly and then try the scales again at the end of August. Bah! I hate scales

A lot of us get on the scales way too much, me included. Like we've seen in post after post... don't depend on the numbers. Even if your weight doesn't change, you're losing inches because muscle is replacing fat.

Hang in there, it's worth it!

LOVE the title of your post! Mine are like that too and I only weigh once a week. Your idea sounds good, once a day is far too often.

Forget what the stupid scale says, take your measurements, or take progress pics, the scale is a random number generator.

Check out my progress pic - according to the scale, I weigh EXACTLY THE SAME in both pics. Do you think there's a difference??

I just had to drop in and chuckle. I can relate to this. It realllllllllllllllllllllly is frustrating to step on that scale and not see progress. Its already been said and I'll second it, let your measuring tape be your best friend. No one sees that number on the scale pasted on your forehead but they sure the loss of inches.

I feel the same way, although it works to kick me back into the shape I should be in. I've been slacking the past couple of months, getting on the scale every morning tells me whether I need to keep it light or if I can do what I want to. I still hate the d*amn thing though.
