  • Help with Fitday

Hi all I'm re-joining the ranks. I've been officially back on since Monday of this week. I've done really well no cheating. well unless you count the crystal lite drinks but i've only been drinking one a day. I sip on one bottle all day with each meal I also chug down a glass or two of water with each meal. of course because i'm anxious tom would come this week too but that's not really my concern right now.
i really am having trouble with fitday. for example where do you put a double cheeseburger? all of the entries for cheeseburger list it with a bun i didn't have a stinkin bun!!! also for dinner last night i had taco salad, try putting that in fitday. i didn't have a restaurant salad i made it at home with ground beef and taco seasoning packet, cheese and pre-made salsa over lettuce. how do i enter that in fitday?? help me folks
thanks and it's great to be back among friends!

    Re: Help with Fitday

With Fitday you really have to break it down and for awhile you will likely have to enter in custom foods. It's a pain at first, but once it's done it's done and all the things you eat regularly are at your fingertips in the recent foods list.

For your double cheeseburger, pop it in as X amount of ounces of lean ground beef (it'll let you choose how it was cooked or raw yields) and add the ounce or two of cheese you put on it.

For your taco salad, this is what I do:

    4oz lean ground beef
1 serving taco seasoning (custom food entry)
    2oz tomato
    10 medium olives
2 tbsp of Old Home Medium Salsa (custom food entry)
2oz mexican shredded cheese (custom food entry)
1oz Lite Sour Cream (custom food entry)

You'll see on Fitday that there is a button for entering and saving a custom food. Pop the label from your food package in there and voila!
