  • Back Again

Hello everyone I just wanted to say hello and not just lurk reading all of the great posts. I was on this board a little over 2 years ago when I got down to my lowest weight in probably 8 years(230lbs). I was on induction for 3 months and dropped 40 lbs and was feeling great and just fell off the wagon and am now back up to 279lbs (my heaviest weight ever). I feel horrible everytime I look in the mirror and am tired of being fat honestly I feel like I am more motivated to loose weight than ever before and to keep it off. I have a new motivation in my 6 week old little girl that I want to play with when she gets older and to be around when she gets married, anyway I have been on induction for 3 days now am just about to get over the headaches (I hope) they have dulled slightly and I know its just a matter of time till they pass so no biggy. we also have a bet going at work $20 to be in every 2 week weigh in and person who has lost the most gets everyone elses $20 we plan on doing it for 4-5 months at least and have 5 guys comitted to it. I think I'm gonna be rich mwahahahah.......no just kidding but I can always use extra money and these guys don't have a clue how fast I can lose on this wol. thanks for reading I will see you guys later.

          Re: Back Again

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Man I am loving this I had very little of the flu, last time 2 day splitting headache and felt really bad for 2-3 days this time only had a headache for about 8-10 hours....sweet!! I have not eaten any carbs since tuesday. I also am eating much less than normal and it's not really bothering me...I mean I am eating 3 eggs for breakfast like 15-20 slices of peperoni for lunch and some roast or other meat for dinner and have been able to stop eating all together after 7pm. I can't believe how good I feel this morning!! I mean I feel friggin great my energy level is high, I have no headache, and just feel like I can take on the world..

Welcome back, Glen. Don't forget to eat your veggies though. The fiber helps your body process the protein and fat in addition to be chalk full of nutrients.

            Congrats on fatherhood.

I wish you the best of luck.
