    Hello STACers!

I am back for my third go around with Atkins. I love the program and love the results - but the carbs captured me for quite a while. I am on day 2 and doing great so far. I look to do a daily check in and itemize what I am eating, exercising, etc. Please feel free to join in. The more the merrier

Today, I had two breakfast muffins (great recipe given out by Starmaker quite a while ago. For lunch I plan to have a taco salad, no shell of course and for dinner cheeseburger w/side of green beans.

Not doing so great on the water yet or exercise yet, but I'm working my way up.

    How is everyone else doing?

    Re: Thursday Check-in

    Morning Sarah,

I checked in with you already on email, but i'll check in here too with our STAC friends!

Just got up (Pacific Time Zone) so i am on my first big first glass of water and that is it. I am frustrated because i stepped on the scale this morning and it said up two pounds. So, i am thinking it has to be water retention, because i feel kind of bloated, and i have not cheated. I also worked out yesterday. Even though i can rationalize the weight gain, it still bums me out. A lot...

You are doing awesome! I believe it is water retention - probably from the smell of everyone else's popcorn at the theater last night

When you had dinner, did you eat something heavy in salt? And as you mentioned in your email, you did eat late last night.

When is it 2 weeks for you?

        Re: Thursday Check-in

My two weeks are up on Monday. I had a very late cheeseburger, no bun, from Jack in the Box. Or Jack in the Crack, as we call it. I just had water for my "snack" in the movies... and that was lame. I used to like to munch on candy, but hey, clearly that is out! I think i am going to do a post on movie-food in the induction forum... maybe someone else has a good plan for that.

That's a great idea! I read somewhere on here before that a person made roasted, seasoned cauliflower as their "popcorn." Looked good.

two weeks are up -10lbs, as a snack... try the mock danish with some sort of fiber supplement or ground flaxseed - cut it into squares and put them in a little plastic snack back- throw them in your purse and off to the movies you go...
