    How is everyone doing?

I am on day 6 of re-induction and hanging in there. I will admit that I have checked the scale daily and have been a little disappointed that the weight is not coming off faster like it has inthe past. But all in all I am doing well.

    Meals for today:
    3 breakfast "muffins"
    side salad w/ranch
2 small cheeseburgers w/out buns of course
    small amount of mayo
    pork chop
    salad w/cucumber, cheese, ranch dressing

Exercise - to hot here to exercise today. I will start introducing exercise next week.

    Ok, who is next?

    Re: Tuesday Check-In

    Hi Sarah ~

I'll be next! Have to steal in my few precious moments on the computer as the husband will be hogging it today again... good God i need to get him downstairs...

So... i am finally breaking down today and trying to make the Mock Danish that everyone speaks of... i'll let you know how it goes later!

Induction is officially over for me... down only 8 pounds total. Which is okay, i guess.... i was hoping for more though. 9 more pounds till i am at my first mini goal. Thn i'll feel like i am officially "starting" since that is where i was in March.

I don't know what else i am going to eat today... maybe some chicken wings for lunch and a salad, don't know what is happening for dinner yet. I'll check in with everyone when i can! Hope you all have a great day...

      Re: Tuesday Check-In

I will check in too. This is day six for me as well.

I also check the scale every morning and use Ketosticks - I can't help myself. I have medium ketones according to the sticks and have lost 10lbs. According to my scale I have lost 2% bodyfat and gained 1.3%water, but I'm not sure how accurate this is. Others have said these scales don't really work. This is what I ate today:

      Breakfast - Mock Danish
Lunch - Homemade barbequed cheeseburger without the bun, 1cup salad, ranch
Supper - Scallops, haddock, 2 cups salad with cheese, ranch

      4 litres of water

      1 hour bike riding
      1/2 hour heavy yard work

          here's my tuesday check-in.

last night i got my first "have you lost weight? you're looking thinner" comment!

so i weighed myself... updated my ticker (check it out!)

          anyway...today:

bfast: the inside of a trader joe's quiche (no crust, of course)
          lunch: 2 fried eggs
dinner: went out to eat. sea bass, tomato mozzarella salad, 2 cappucinos made with half & half...and one bite of cappucino mousse (but i don't feel guilty about that. i skipped the dinner bread and mashed potatos, and i only had one bite.)

exercise: STILL recovering from my sprained ankle. any tips on good exercises in the mean time?

          good luck tomorrow~

            Okay I'll join

Today is day 2 of re-induction for me I also use a keto-stick every morning and step on the scale it is a complusion.

So this morning I had trace ketones and was down 5.5pounds. Though I will not post weight lost till next monday cause my weight tends to flucuate. I feel more motivated this time , more that all the other times I tried to re-start.

Food Breakfast:a bunch of eggs with mayo( I am starving this morning)
            Lunch: Chicken Breast and salad
Dinner some kind of meat and a veggie
            150oz water

I have not started an exercise plan yet!

              Good morning,
Happy Hump Day. I am at one and half weeks on induction and the scale is not showing much in the way of loss, but I really need to quit weighing in each day! Ugh.

              7.5 pounds, Paris?? Awesome!
              149.8/no weigh/ 119

              1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
what the rungs mean to me:
              rung 1 - more veggies
rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
              rung 4 - berries, melon
              rung 5 - wine -
              rung 6 - beans, hummus
              rung 7 - other fruits
rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
              Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
