  • I never planned on being here

So, I swore up and down I would never have to visit this board. I was going to do it...no ifs ands or buts...I was going to stick with it. Now, six months and 30 pounds later, here I am in the forum I swore I would never even visit.

It's okay though because while it means I fell off the wagon, it also means I've decided it's time to leave that behind me, no longer allow myself to use, "Well, I'll start tomorrow" as a reason not to start today, and that I'm going to look ahead rather than looking back.

So, here I am. I need you guys to keep me accountable. I WILL do it!

Great job keeping a positive attitude! And Congrats on your losses so far!! This is a lifestyle change - so it was great that you were able to bounce back from this to continue forward.

      Way to Go, Kay
This is it, a new day, forward thinking, motivated to move in the right direction! You can do this. Motivation will lead to momentum as the days pass, hang in there and just do it!
Sounds like you have the "revelation" the "ah-ha" moment under your belt and it is pointing you right towards a positive future!
You will feel so much better each hour you move in this direction.
I am on day 6 of induction and I woke up with more peace in my body than I have known for some time. I am finally at rest. No more crazies from too much sugar, over eating or a few extra beers....I sleep hard all night long and wake up looking forward to the day. No irritables now, just smooth peacefulness.
      Keep moving in this direction!

I have been having much of the same problem...it seems that I slip just a little, and I feel soooo guilty about it. Have to stay strong, and keep up with the good snacks!!

Re: I never planned on being here

I never thought I'd be in induction again, but the terrific thing I am learning is that the body really is a remarkable thing. It remembers how to do things right when you get over the hump.
