  • Still Hanging Tough

    I am on day 8 on induction. I have lost 11 pounds so far. I am attempting to drink 100 oz day but some days I don't quite make it. I am walking for 60 minutes 5 days a week and strength training for 2 days.

    I started putting my menus in fitday to prepare for moving on to OWL and found out I wasn't eating enough calories even though the percentages were correct. I have added more higher calorie allowable induction foods to my meals and now my calories are around 1200 a day and I am feeling much better. I know with my 1 hour of exercise 5 days a week my calories need to be a little higher but I am so full I can't eat anything else. Hopefully moving on to OWL will help make this easier.

    This time around has been much easier and I think it is because I have been dilligent about following the plan exactly as written. I am also going to move on to OWL after this week because last time I stayed on induction too long, got bored with the food and cheated. I think looking forward to adding new foods as I move up rungs will help keep me cheat free.

    You are doing great, Beccanae! Your exercise plan is wonderful and it is great that you analyzed your calories and adjusted them to meet your needs. One of these days i should get onto fitday too, but it seems so difficult to me! Anyway, i think you are doing a super job. Keep up the good work!!!
