    Hi STACers!

Things are still going well for me. The downside for today is that I'm having a major chocolate craving. But luckily, I have no available cash, so I cannot break down and purchase any evil chocolate.

I am diligently counting my carbs and measuring this week, which seems to be helping me stay consistent with my habits and to be sure that I'm staying under 20 carbs. Exercise has been good this week. I'm feeling tired right now, but good.

How about everyone else? Exercise plans for the day? Menus for the day? Anything?

For exercise, I plan to walk on the treadmill tonight, or outside, whichever works. If I do not do that, then I will do my 2 Mile WATP video. Planned menu for today: Breakfast: salad (lettuce, bacon, cheese, peppercorn dressing), Midmorning: chicken boullioun (sp?), Lunch: salad (lettuce, bacon, cheese, cherry tomato, peppercorn dressing), 2 small cheeseburgers, bunless. Dinner: something involving ground hamburger. I'm thinking of making a hamburger, onion, stewed tomato concoction.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

    Sarah

    Re: Wednesday Check-In

Morning, all! I am hungry this morning... i wish IHOP delivered. LOL. I could go for an omelet right now, but i am too lazy to cook anything for myself. Hey, i am on my TOM, so i am entitled to a little laziness, right? Lazy or not, i do plan on doing the Firm today. I will have to do it during Luna's nap, however, to prevent her from getting on the "fanny lifter" contraption that comes with The Firm! I'd rather get exercise done in the mornings, but little one was up bright and early at 7am on the dot. So it'll just have to wait.

Even though i am on my TOM, i do feel like i am shrinking. I suppose Sunday's weigh-in will reveal the results, coupled with the measuring, of course. Now i look forward to Sundays...

I am taking Luna to the park this morning with my friend and her two daughters. Should be fun! It looks like a really nice day out.

Well, i'll check in with you all later... i hope everyone has a great day!

      Re: Wednesday Check-In

      Hey,
I am having a good day...my previous today post describes last night. This morning I have had all the energy I needed to accomplish my routine, it was not as "effortless" as yesterday. My husband walked up while I was speeding along on the indoor bike. He is a busy guy and has not been paying attention to all of my routines, other than the fact that I am up much earlier than anyone is use to. He walks up while I am speeding along and just looks at me. This is something He has not seen for at least 3 yrs. I said, "getting to 20 mins today is so much easier than it was on day one"... "When was day 1" He asks...."NINE DAYS AGO".........I said with pride.
On day one I felt each second on that bike. Today, I felt each 5 min pass (yesterday I never noticed until the last 4 mins and then poof it was over)....funny about our awareness..hmm I might write on that one tomorrow....Speaking of awareness, I got up at 6, and at 9:15 I realized for the first time I had to eat today....it never crossed my mind. My daughter thought that was like a miracle man, she could not believe it...

Hang in there Loana!! Just think of it as a stepping stone in your son's future. He's becoming a big boy now and will love to hear that. I know its tough to hear them cry, but he will adjust sooner than you think. Try to find a new way for the two of you to connect. Like some special time in the day that you just stop whatever your doing and sit together to read, sing songs, just talk to him, anything. Then the two of you will still enjoy the bonding time together.

            Re: Wednesday Check-In

My first checkin since I started this week, but I feel like I should.

Monday was a wash, so I technically started tuesday. Day two now, I slept great last night. It was a pretty stressful night (1 year anniv of my seperation) so I was about ready to hit the pizza nd alcohol. Instead, I went to the gym, talked with some people online, and went to bed.

I had eggs and bacon for bfast, salad for lunch, chicken & beans for dinner.
Will try to get out for my walk tonight, but certainly get to the gym to lift.

                Re: Wednesday Check-In

Well, it's a miracle: i worked out. I can't believe i did it - it was so hard today! It is day two of my TOM and we were gone so long at my friend's house today that i didn't even get to work out until 3:30pm. It is so much nicer when you get it over with in the morning, isn't it? Well, it is done now... another day down. I have to just focus on one day at a time because otherwise it will blow my mind just how far of a road i have to travel down to get to where i want to be with myself. Anyone else ever feel like that?

Anyway, enough about me and my silly issues...

Loana, hang in there, baby ~ i know you are going through a hard time and i feel for you! Please keep checking in with us - we are all here for you! And Sarah gave you some really good advice - go Sarah!

RyMN ~ Good for you for staying strong despite a sad day! That is awesome!

Yep, I feel that way too Jenna, one day at a time. If I look beyond that it starts to get overwhelming and I start to doubt my self.

                      Hi All

Well, I kinda feel like I cheated today. I had a very stressful afternoon - one that would usually make me eat a whole package of cookies or half a cake. Just as I was about to do that I opened the fridge and spotted the broccoli, bacon, and cheese salad that I had made before. So I ate a bowl of it and then I ate an atkins bar that I had for emergencies. I'm still in ketosis - but do you think I blew it? Today was my last day of induction.

                        Nope you are fine.

                        And you learned a lesson.

I on the other hand, blew it. On the horse to the gym and in the AM.
