Hey all, how we doing today, it's Friday!!!
I think Sarah is out on an interview this morning or something like that, so I will start the thread and she can come in and be surprised by all of us.
First we believe for a great interview and a better situation for Sarah, "Amen or something of that nature"...
I am good today, still can't believe how evil sugar has been to me considering I have seen such improvements from that liste of sugar symptoms on pg131 of the DANDR book... I looked them over and alot of those symptoms are totally gone, or irrelavent in my daily life...That means I am aware again of how much you get back when you give up....
I reflect often using WW as my comparison. I only lost a little weight on Weight Watchers, and it's a fine program, really, but because of my insulin resistence, and the fact I could continue on with sugars and processed things, it did not give me the relief in the physical/emotional/mental arenas that Atkins does.
I lost weight with WW, but I did not improve all the other terribly troubling sugar symptom areas...
NOW, i have a new quality along with being in a pair of pants that I could not be comfortable in at all 2 weeks ago..

I agree with WW. IT's good, but not for me. I was always hungry! I am a carb addict. No question about it. Sugar is not good - sugar from foods IS good. Do you taste sweetness in things never before tasted?? Blueberries and strawberries! I had a bite of a banana with my son the other day sweeeeet. I sampled A grape from the fridge.. Sugar sweet! Funny how that is.
