Has anyone used either of these products?? I saw them in the Atkins section of my Walmart. What are they & has anyone found them to help? I don't even know what Glucerna is so I'm curious about it. Thanks

Glucerna is kind of like Ensure or Slim-Fast meal replacement for glucose intolerant persons to better control insulin, with slower-digesting carbs. But they pack quite a few carbs- don't go there. You get the control already from this diet.
The carb blockers are a waste of money. They may prevent some complex carbs from being broken down into sugar in your stomach, but those carbs can be broken down further along your system; ther's no proof in real life studies that carbs are eliminated intact at the other end.~Susan
