Poor Sarah isn't feeling very well and is very busy at work today to boot. Let's send her some positive energy to help her feel better... she said she'll check in on the board later this afternoon!

      Feel better, Sarah!

You guys are so awesome! I'm floating around here this week. Trying to touch ground again. I have screwed up and we all know how much fun that entails. So I'm trying desperately to get back on track. I've had some difficulty with meds that my doc was giving me for overactive thyroid, which was supposed to help with a previous treatment I had to destroy my thyroid. So now the meds have made me underactive thyroid. So I have been so extremely tired that I cannot do anything . I'm just tired of being tired. I also thing the meds have made it harder to lose weight. I'm not seeing results so I'm having a hard time staying strong and resisting carbo foods.

Sarah girl! This sounds like a challenging time, with the meds taking alot out of you, and not leaving you much to fight with. One day at a time, maybe this is a moment in your journey to just try and hold the ground you have instead of taking more ground...
We are only so strong and when we are in a storm, it's all we can do to hold on...But I want to encourage you to HOLD ON Soon this will all smooth out and your meds will get regualated..., and you don't want to come through and find yourself so disconnected it's even harder to get back...
Just try to maintain your space....
I am sitting here and I see this picture in my mind...it's of climbers going up Mt Everest...They make a plan, just like we have a plan. They have a base camp, we have STAC-Base camp. They move forward slowly and keep reporting in to Base camp, so do we...The journey is hard, so they take it a day at a time, seeking short goals, because of the challenge and load, they have to pace so they can make it to the top...When the weather kicks up and it does, they just hold their ground and wait it out. They rest, stay focused, they are ready to move forward at any time...but they don't tumble back down to base camp and begin again...They just wait out the storm and hold the ground they have worked so hard for....When the weather breaks, they move forward again, back to daily efforts, so they can eventually make it to the top...They don't try to make up the time, they really can't it's too streneous...
Hold your ground. Eat right, and do small things while this season is hammered by thyroid storms... anyone who has had theirs messed up knows how tough this is for you....
          I believe in you...
