    Good morning STACers....
How is everybody doing. I am good. A little slow and tired today, but I am up and focusing...I have read all over the boards this morning...
I was wondering if we could start a challenge here?
Who wants to gather up and challenge ourselves...Setting a mini goal and then working towards it TOGETHER for those of us in this current daily community?
I was thinking a 1 week mini goal...
    Any thoughts...

    The Horizon

So, I was sitting here today, looking for something to look at. I can't look down at the scales, and yet I am hungering to look at something. I am a motivational junkie. I need to be pumped with something positive and eye opening every single day, and then I chew on it, and write from that place, as you have all experienced...It's my job to fill that hunger, nobody stands around patting my back...I am the back patter here.

I wondered about you guys this morning, do you guys visualize?
Do you close your eyes and see your future? Do you ever think about where you are going...
Do you look to your left in life and then to your right in life.
Are you doing positive things in life outside "all that is atkins"...
2 yrs ago the #1 best seller was "the purpose driven life"
Do you have purpose or did being overweight keep you from that.
What are you going to do with the new energy in your life.

Last night my husband said he was going to the library. I jumped up and asked to go along. It's like the room all stopped and He and my daughter just looked at me. Energy, what am I going to do with this energy?

Well, I work on visualizing. I work on carrying dreams in my heart. I work very hard right now on balancing all that is Atkins and the responsibilities of my life. I look deep, but I also look out on my horizon, where i am going in life and what I want to accomplish. If you have been to my blog, www.jdudley.blog.com you know I have way more life than I have had the energy for. That it has made me desperately unhappy to have so much opportunity and responsibility and not have enough energy to cover it.
The reason I have so much life is because I looked outside of myself and to the horizon. As fat as I am, I have said yes to opportunities along the way that bring meaning to me and others. I live in a state of "giving out of my vision and heart"...
My horizons pulls me throught the days most days and at others times it has been a crushing responsibility i barely could handle...
Since Atkins, I have been able to add energy to all the things "yes" in my life.
My future is bright! My horizon is full...and now energy is there to take all the places I am involved up a notch...

      Re: Wed check in

Feeling pretty good today. Step by step the stair become a little easier each day. I've started using Fitday, and found that I'm generally in the 15-18 carb range. Boy, when you first see that number without the fiber it makes your heart stop . I think mine yeaterday was 42 with 28 fiber, although I admit I hadn't added a couple things like a packet of splenda and and ounce of cream. My fat to protein is hovering right around 68% fat and 27% protein. So I'm pretty close! I still need to work on spreading out my veggie carbs.

I leave Friday night for my cruise, and I admit some anxiety. I've never found it easy to low carb when I travel so we'll have to see what I can do! Thankfully cruises are about the one place where you can find just about everything to eat.
