  • I know you've heard this 1,000 times....

    hi,
I'm on day 11 today, feeling good overall, but discouraged at the same time. I have not weighed myself, even before re-starting, so I have no idea what I weigh. I can tell by my clothes though.... I wore this outfit for work today, and noticed no change what so ever. I see so many posts about the drastic weight loss in the first 2 weeks. So, don't worry, I'm going to keep going strong, but I'm just disapointed that I let my body go for so long. I thought today...when I feel this outfit looser in the waist, then I will weigh myself, until then it would be too depressing.
    thanks for letting me vent.

It could possibly be too much salt (I don't know what your meal plans are)...salt can cause water retention, I've read.

I'll second that... I noticed that between the bacon I was eating, ham, etc; my sodium intake was WAY up. I've tried to take better notice of how much sodium I'm consuming during the day.

I rarely notice weight loss in the morning. It's always after work that I see it. The first week was great for me, then the second week was pretty good too. I decided to stay on induction longer and the third week I didn't lose ANYTHING. Not an ounce.

Till today. I dropped 3 more pounds.

Drink lots of water. I don't think anyone can stress that enough.

Weight be gone, im on day 12 and have only lost a measly 2 lbs. My clothes dont feel much loser, but i can see the toning up in my tum and my face is less swollen. Try and take pleasure in the small changes.
