  • Day 10 was a success!

I am feeling so encouraged now that the "flu" has passed and I have worked through the sweets cravings. The WOL has now become much easier and I am having so much fun preparing some of the low carb menus I have found posted here. I made the swiss and bacon quiche this morning and it is YUMMY! I have so much more energy now, also. Last week I felt like every step I was walking through water, but now I am light on my feet again.
One odd thing happened, however. I went to the doctor yesterday to get some advice on my rapidly worsening PMS symptoms, and he prescribed me antidepressants. I told him I did NOT want the kind that make you lose your edge because the last time I took those I gained 30 pounds and did not care! So he put me on these that are not suppose to make you sleepy or hungry, and OMG! I was up off and on all night, bounced out of bed at 5 am and had to force myself to eat the quiche I prepared. My pupils are even a bit dialated! He says this is normal and I will level out in a week or so. I sure hope so...I like this energy but I am gonna HAVE to get some sleep eventually!

      Awesome Cristi,
it is amazing how you feel on the other side of the detox time...it will only get better and better...it's like a honeymoon tho, and I am still pretty fired up, and flying high, and I am well aware one day, I come down emotionally...and that has happened twice...
i think it was my body catching up to all the changes with exercise and my schedule...
Today I was so sleepy when I got up, and with in 15 mins I was up making the bed and moving laundry...that's very not NORMAL in my world...its my new life barging into my day...
Good luck today, may you open just the right cans and be able to deal with all the worms...
