  • Folding clothes - size changes

Have any of you noticed when you folded clothes previously that your shirt/pants was normal.. and now that you are losing they seem really big????

I noticed it last night. I was like WOW, that's my shirt?? I slipped in on and nice and roomy.

I think I was in denial!

Rachel, I definitely know what you are saying there. I have one of my BIG shirt still hung in the wardrobe, just as a reminder really.

I also have a pair of my biggest trousers hung up also.

I can now put those trousers on top of my jeans and still to big, the belt doesnt keep them up either.

Re: Folding clothes - size changes

I had a good double-take this morning, while trying to retrieve from a basket of clean clothes not yet folded, from the dryer, a pair of shorts for my 11-year-old today. I handed him a pair of mine (that I recently just fit into) thinking they were his!!!
Of course, he noticed, but it really caught me by surprise. Now, I'mm gonna have to start marking clothes since he's getting bigger, and soon we'll be the same size!!!

Rachel - I unfortunately didn't realize just how much looser my clothes were untill I had on a pair of shorts and was doing yard work and they fell down to my ankles! (Good thing I had big underwear on)

It's all these little things that I want to notice and write down along the way. On my STATS Journal I try to make note of all these little things so I can re-read them at a later date and see how far I have come. Baby steps.. they all add up in the end and make a complete picture! The new ME!
