Hello everyone. It really is great to be a part of this community. I am on my second, third or maybe fifth time on this WOL. The first time was the longest and the most constructive. I went from 295 to 272 in 6 weeks. Then I went on a carb binge that lasted for a couple of years. I have come back to atkins with the hope of stopping the slide. So far I am on day 9 of induction and feeling pretty good.
I have this site to thank for so many reasons.
In the last 3 days I have learned about the induction flu, the proper balance of fat/protien/carbs, the importance of lots of water
and exercise.
I don't have a regular exercise routine yet but am always moving as I renovate a room in the house and build a deck. I also get out on my bike as often as I can. As far as my weight loss, I am staying away from a scale for at least the first month. Can't have my self esteem dependent on a metal box that only goes up to 310 anyway.
I do know that my clothes fit better and I feel thinner. I have even managed to bring my belt in by a loop.
Thank you all so much for the information and support.
