    Nuts

I have found that one ounce of sunflower seeds will hold me up for a very long time. I usually have them as a snack in the afternoon.. but then I wasn't hungry for supper. That is my culprit. I was looking over my food log when it clicked. So either I need to eat them ealier in the day, use them in my meal at supper or use them in an emergency when I need sustaining and cannot eat.

Kinda neat. And to think I'd eat a pack of them before and be hungry by the next meal.

Today I am trying peanuts to see if they will hold me over like sunflower seeds.

Anyone else make a neat discovery?

I haven't moved on to OWL yet, but that is awesome Rachel!!! I'd love to discover a little snack that holds me over between the after lunch, but too early for dinner hours.

I love almonds. Probably a little too much, so I have to be careful with them.

Atkins always surprises me. Over the weekend we were out and about and I realized I had not eaten. I wasn't too hungry, but didn't want to get to that point and gorge. So we picked up some jerky, nuts and water at the gas station.. It was so nice to have the energy to do what we were doing and the want to do it, and to not have that blood sugar drop and you are suddenly starving, could eat anything in site - and do - and those aweful shakes and mood swings because your blood sugar dropped so fast.

Gotta love it! Cream cheese seems to hold me up too. I usually have nuts or cream cheese while the kids have their after school snacks

I sprinkle dry sugar free pudding on it and sprinkle some stevia on top. Mix well and eat. It's kinda like cheese cake. Kinda sorta. It's good. Different flavors make it taste totally different.

I eat about ten almonlds everyday. I find when I eat them....it helps my weight loss. Even on induction.....I've done better with them than without them.
