  • Sunday morning, Hello!!!

Hello STACers, I hope this weekend finds most of you sleeping in and relaxing. I will sleep in again tomorrow, and I can't wait. Today I am up very early, got things to do, and my number 1 priority is that bike that's looking at me.

Well I think I have experienced my first real whoosie, (sorry Paul you get the continuous weight loss, us girls, ours goes in stages)
Been going up and down with 3pounds, 214-211 range...Yesterday I got up and was down 1 pound to 210. This morning I half expected it to go back up again...but nope, it went down to 204.5. I blinked and blinked...Not sure if I should hold it loosely or what! I confirms what I have been feeling.

Well I got my kid through day one of Atkins. Made her a wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. it is culture shock to go from low fat, to low carb...and she surely loves the meats and cheeses, and was continually surprised...she said at 10p she was missing dessert, I explained her mind was, she was really still full from dinner... She has been battling her own teen exhaustion from school being a challenge this yr. So she slept alot yesterday. I have not mentioned induction flu, shhhhh, or that early fatigue.

    It's a great day.

I have to say, the one thing I haven't gotten is that huge burst of energy to wake up all chipper in the morning. It's still a struggle for me. I get 8+ hours a night and could do with another hour or so. Wish I gained that! COngrats on the sudden drop Jess, I could do with one of those

yeah but 25 lbs i less than a month, thats pretty cool, and as a guy things should continue that way...no fair..I am a naturally enthusicastic (sp) person in the morning...
Happy to be up, organized and buzzing...plus all my good news is great..I think I lost 4 or 5 inches...My kid lost 8...so things are shifting in our world...My skinny husband watches from the bleachers...dare not get in our way...

My wife is actually doing it with me more to break some of her cravings than to lose weight. It does make it a little easier when you don't have to make 3 meals (one for me, one for her, one for the kids).

                Re: Sunday morning, Hello!!!

Congrats, Jess! Whoohooo! Gotta love it.

This weekend I'm pushing myself to get the water and veggies in. I've been struggling lately and I want to succeed. Not bad struggle but just not getting all my foods in. Too much on the go on the weekends.

We have been busy around the house getting things cleaned up. The weather has been nice and I don't mine early morning/late afternoon working in the yard and old house. It's finally cleaned out totally! A year and it's finally done. I was so depressed for so long. Needless to say, I got my exercise in this weekend. I was so tired last night that I could not sleep. Wide awake. ARGH. I ache and I'm sore but it sure feels good. Hubby cannot stop telling me how good I look That man! He refused to let me wear some of my shorts saying they were too big and I needed to stop hiding behind my clothes. Smart man! It's hard to make that switch.. you feel people are looking at you.. or at least I do. Psychological stuff, ya know?

Wow, Rachel good weekend huh? Congrats on the clothing problems...what problems to have. I am going to have problems shortly too. I know the weather is slowly making a turn, and this weekend I put on a shirt I have not worn in two years, it was fine!
Yesterday I wore a pair of pants I could not wear at the begging of atkins, and it won't be much longer and I will be OUTTA them!! I am already starting to figure out what I will dig up and out, things are out of style....oh what a problem to have.
