    Last summer into this past spring I did atkins, lost 26 lbs, looked great, compliments, compliments, compliments...... then gained, gained, gained....
    I was 206 now I am 199............ so I gained most of it back, not all but most. Then I figured let me give weight watchers a try for two weeks........ I GAINED A LB............... I know this works, I have experienced it ! I went for a mile and 1/2 bike ride this morning.... had two eggs with cheese..... etc, etc,....

    SO ONCE AGAIN I AM BACK

    With good intentions... on being less by my birthday 11/18

    i AM SURE MY signature is going to be wrong............

    It's nice to have you with us, Debbie!

    My problem with WW wasn't that I didn't lose weight, it was that I stayed hungry for the entire year, plus, that it took me to lose 58 pounds. I remember that I fantasized about food constantly. With Atkins, I'm actually satisfied between meals, and lose just as well. Also, WW didn't take away my migraines, acid reflux, and skin problem the way Atkins does.

    Anyway, I personally think you made the right choice to return to this WOE. So, Welcome!!

        Welcome back Debbie. I also think you made the wise choice to return before you gained anymore of the weight back. For me it was just a matter of making a committment to myself. Compliments are good, but sometimes they work in reverse. We start to feel that we look good enough and stop doing what we should do. I wrote down everything that I was going to do, took my measurements and weight in my journal. I wrote down my daily schedule and put my weight loss plan into that plan. It took me a while, but soon it became a habit and I was aware of what I was going to eat, when I would exercise and do my measurments. Now it is just part of my life-style, I don't really have to think about it or force myself to do what I have to do.

        This really is a great plan and it works. I've never felt better in my life. Take baby steps, get comfortable with your new ways and keep active here in the ADBB. It really helps to have others who are supportive and encouraging you to succeed.

          Wecome Debbie,
          I just took my teen off WW and put her on Atkins and she is no longer thinking of food, constantly working her points and or hungry!!!!
          It's amazing what ketosis brings you...Energy, burning fat, diminished appetite, reduced cravings...girl you will be so fired up and feeling good in no time! Welcome!!!

            Welcome Deb!

            I had previously done atkins successfully and went down to 155-156..
            Left this WOL and topped off at 215!!!
            Currently just under 199, with a few bumps along the road..

            You can totally do this! Welcome back read post, this a a great bunch of STACers

                Welcome back Debbie, and if I shoot you, you have to shoot me too! Right in the arm with a bit of inspiration mixed with determination! I too fell flat on my face and rolled over onto my not so flat behind and stared at the ceiling thinking... WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING! Here we go Debbie. BACK AWAY FROM THE CARBS!

                Give yourself a big hug and get your butt in gear, then hand over the oilcan, so I can do mine, and we'll be in the same boat!

                Can't think of any place I'd rather be in a boat with someone...
