I just had to share! I know yall will really understand!
I lost 22.. then the scale started bouncing between 20 and 22. Veggies watched and the scale jumped down to 22 again. I have been hanging there for a good two weeks. I'm looking at people who started after me and will be passing me up soon. I know it's not a race.. but it IS kind discouraging. I kept measuring thinking the scale may be stuck but inches should be moving.
This morning TOM arrived. Great. Right before church. First few days are horrible and I really need to wear dark clothing just incase. Dark jeans are now too big. Great.
I grab the jeans that are my goal jeans for this month. before atkins I could not get in them at all. Then about 3 weeks in I could get them on. Then they were tight again. Fat moving around. It went a good few weeks that they were tight in the gut and getting bigger in the legs. Great! So my goal was to wear them for my neice's birthday at the end of Sept. I had worn them the first time to my nephew's birthday in Aug. Surely they would fit better this time around.
Guess what? I got those suckers on NO problem (even with first day of TOM) and they are getting so big on me! The legs are getting bigger and the waist is away from my body when I stand up!? wow! They don't fall off, but it proves that the inches are moving! It was soo easy to pass up those donuts after church sporting my jeans! hahaha
I'll be so excited after TOM to see the scale move! More incentive to stay ontop of water and veggies this week. Whoo hooo... looks like i"m totally gonna achieve my goal this month. Thanks Jesse for starting me thinking and getting one. Goals like that are better than seeing the scale move.
I'm just so excited that I had to share. I"m off to do my pilates while hubby is at Lowe's. He says he can tell i'm firmer.
