  • Alright here goes! Good Mon. mornng!

Hey it's Monday. I had a good weekend...did something new, hiked! The biggest couch potatoe in the family took the little spud out and we HIKED, on a real trail in the woods and had the best time...How in the world there could be such a nice trail in woods right in the middle of suburbia is beyond me...
Little spud ran up hills and big potatoe here tried to keep up! Her legs are thirty yrs younger..
Well, we slept well last night..
How is everybody. This week our motto is, "keeping a step ahead"...to ensure our successs!

The weekend has ended too soon! It went by like a flash. I managed to cook a terrific roast, go to a movie & dinner, work out, and learn tons of Algebra this weekend. My sons are Freshmen, so I'm finding I need to study math 1 day a week so I can help tutor them this year.

Yep, big fun this weekend. LOL. Oh well, today I have the day to myself to get some stuff done. That will be nice. Happy Monday, Jess!!!

It's raining here, which reminds me to drink my water LOL Lots of indoor work today I suppose. Did well on water and exercise this weekend. Still working on getting veggies in!! I dunno how I'll ever consume more carbs in the future if I cannot get this part under my belt. argh!

Morning all. I'm making a better effort to post this week to pull me out of the doldrums. 39 days in, 35.5 pounds down. 2 or 3 nothes on my belt, 2 sizes on my pants, and I've lost quite a bit of my man-boob area . Still feel fat as ****, but I'm getting there. Weekend ws ok for me, but I honestly do better during the week because I'm more regimented in my time.

          Hi all ~ happy Monday!

Doing okay here... Luna has a cold though, so i am keeping her home from school today. I guess it is one of those "back to school" colds. I feel bad because it seems as though she is just getting over her earrache from two weeks ago!

I resisted the urge to step on the scale again. Put it back up in the closet... it isn't the scale that rules my day, right?! So instead i'll just say that i feel good & on track and my jeans are super loose & i'm going shopping for size 16 tomorrow...

          Enjoy the day everyone!

            Morning Stac'ers!

Well that weekend went zipping by, didn't it?? I'm still on a high from my 10 pounds down. Everyday is like count down to Christmas here until next Sunday....hoping I can get rid of another 4 and be in Onderland! Please Santa!!! LOL!

Got a little bit done around the house here...not much with the kids home. But did freecycle a big box of DD's dolls and doll clothes and the 4 artifical trees are going to their new home tonight. Kitchen and bathroom still spotless. The kids room...NOT. Nothing excites a kid like a clean room. They spent hours in there yesterday playing with their toys and messing it up. SIGH! I sent them down twice to clean it and they played and played and played. I am not sure what I want more....a clean room or them actually playing with thier toys and using their imaginations...LOL!

This week I am in the master bedroom(medium hard as I will try on all my clothes), kids bathroom(super easy) and storage area(yikes..I want my mommy...soooo scary).

Jess.....good on you for the hiking!!! You are going to be in Onderland before you know it!

Profit...good for you for studying Algebra! What a good mommy. I think I will hire a tutor at that point...LOL!

Rachel...get those vegies in. You can add some vegies to an omelet. Vegies and dip as your snack. I was having that trouble too before. I added more to the chili. Made stuffed peppers. Made a really easy soup...if you don't mind a nothing fancy soup...just a head of cauliflower cut up and boiled with a carton of chicken broth. Add a small onion if you want and some garlic if you want. Puree it. And that is it. If you want it to taste a bit more creamy and rich add 1 T sour cream into your cup or bowl. A little sprinkle of salt and pepper and you are all set for the fall days. This freezes well.

Paul...you are doing wonderful!!! Glad you are making an effort to post more. I believe it makes a difference! Smile, even if you don't feel like it. Fake it until you make it. :^)

Dragon....happy shopping for a size 16!! I am jealous...LOL! I will admit to weighing everyday. But I don't get NEKKED and it doesn't count until the Sunday here. I don't recommend it for everyone but it works for me. I once posted something about it last year. If you put too much stock in the numbers and let it affect your mood then it is definately a good plan to stay off of it and get the rush of seeing a pound or two down. To each their own.

            Be a good day everyone!

Stuffed peppers.. that is an idea.. and tomatoe sauce! MMM. Back to the store LOL I'm trying to get my veggies in at the beginning of the day to make sure they are all eaten.. I don't eat eggs every morning so that's kinda hard. This morning I had bBQ steak. I wasn't hungry last night so I skipped supper and had it this morning instead. MMM and so good. I could have had a tomatoe with it.. grrr.. maybe I'll eat a sliced tomatoe with salt and pepper, oh, and cukes!
