Hey you guys....hope everyone is doing good with their weight loss endeavors. I have been off of plan for just about a month now, and I have been going through absolute **** ever since. My ex girlfriend was still playin her little games just like she was before, but being on my diet and everything made me feel alot better you know, it gave me something to be proud of. So, after a few half hearted attempts to get back on plan, here I am, for real this time, I have gained some of my weight back but, that is just because of poor eating, and eating way tooo much, and I know it. So, now I am refocused on losing this weight and becoming happier. I have decided to take this time for me. I changed my phone number, and I am moving back in with my mom and going to go back to college in the fall. I know my ex girlfriend will never come here. My mom hates her! So I think I can count her out. Anyways, I went to the Y today for 2 hours...hoping that I get back into ketosis faster. I did one hour of weights, and one hour of cardio. Feels really good. Im going to start a journal, and get myself back on track and keep on it! Hope everyone will cheer me on as I will try to cheer everyone else on and keep everyone motivated, this is a self thing, but on here we are all going through the same thing right.

Im not really sure what to do about my ex...I still want to be with her but dont want to feel like I have to beg her...I think since I changed my number it will give us both time to think, but I think if she really wants to get back with me, she will show me...but I dont know how to respond....God I hate talkin about her, but I have no one else to talk about it with....

Welcome back. I'm glad you are concentrating on your health and happiness. I've found that when I do positive things for myself and take care of my health, then it shows to others. You'll be the best that you can be and if it is meant to be, then you will get back together.
You are making a lot of adjustments and good decisions for yourself...so that should definitely make you proud and stronger. Use your determination to make some sound plans for your weight loss journey. Take your measurements to see inches falling as well as recording your weight loss. Having emergency plans in order for college will help you if you hit any rough spots. Remember....we are all here for you. You don't have to do this alone. Having the support and inspiration from others who are on the journey with you will make your weight loss adventure more enjoyable. YOU CAN DO THIS.Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

Welcome back!!! Good to see you here... i'm glad you found your way back! I think it is wonderful that you are taking this time for YOU. This is about you and your journey... keep that in mind.
Like Rachel said, if it is meant to be it will be (with the girl), however, this time NOW is about you. Just keep focused on yourself and getting back on track and you'll do awesome! Way to go with the gym workout!!!

It's so good you're back to Atkins. Sometimes we need to step back and take a deep breath to really see what's going on in our lives and follow through with our plans. Congrats on workng out! Keep up the good work!

It's a "now thing" you know what I'm sayin, it's time for the deal with atkins...You know it works, it brought you back here! Great job at the Y, keep going to the Y, get settled in with your mom, and take control of your life, your water, your food and your exercise, and the rest will work it's way out every day, know what I'm sayin...You are gonna be stronger, fitter, and no quitter!

I agree with what everyone else here is saying. Take a breath for a bit. Let this time be able you. Get yourself in order and focus. Keep your eye on the ball. I am guessing that you are somewhere around early twenties? There is so much time to work out all that other stuff. School, working out, diet!149.8/no weigh/ 119

what the rungs mean to me:
rung 1 - more veggies
rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
rung 4 - berries, melon
rung 5 - wine -
rung 6 - beans, hummus
rung 7 - other fruits
rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
(on to pre-maintenance)
