  • Good morning, It's Thurday!

Hey STACers...Good morning. Do you feel the cooler air? Has it made it's way to texas? How about the west coast??? It's in the south, and we are excited!
This week is going by pretty fast! I seem to be on the run alot. I have acutally given myself some down time in the evenings to catch a few new shows...

I don't know about you, but I feel like my body is coming along. There is enough momentum and I am not having to pulling my body along. Does that sound strange. I don't have to sit myself down and catch my breath. I can go longer, and do alot more. My spirit is so full and I am just waiting for my general level of fitness to catch up with my enthusiasm...
Time to exercise and make the day count!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are in Ketosis!

Day four here, and I got up to pee 5 times last night. We all know what that means! *dance*

So far so good, haven't had any desire to cheat yet. I did have the induction headache the first day, but oddly enough nothing since then. I took a big ole dose of acidophilus on Monday, maybe that's why! It might also be because I have had a cold for 3 days now, so maybe I just haven't noticed. :P

Either way, I'm on a roll!

Good for you, Jess. Keep up the exercising! That is such a good thing. As we know, exercise is non-negotiable on the WOL. I went out for my walk last night. It is a bit cooler here, yes, Ma'am. Although it will still be up to 80 today. (Orlando)

As for you, Knick, Ketosis rocks! I almost threw myself out over the week-end with some sauce at a thai restaurant, but I drank a ton of water and saved myself. I love ketosis. I just feel great!

        Re: Good morning, It's Thurday!

The best part of ketosis is that I'm not hungry anymore. I got so used to just eating my face off for a while there, and every time I tried to 'diet' I'd just be starving. Between my cold and ketosis, I'm barely even noticing when it's time to eat. LOVE IT!

And yes, exercise! I walked about an hour and 20 minutes yesterday at lunch. Only 20 min the day before, an hour the day before that. Today I'm hoping for another big one. We'll see!

Oh! And I forgot to answer the cooler air question! YES! I could see my breath this morning. Sad, really, but on the other hand it makes it much easier to go outside and exercise. :P I dread winter though!

Ketosis, that special added blessing! Ketosis just makes my day. I love to know that when I cannot see any other sign of progress, ketones pouring out of me makes it ok.

              Re: Good morning, It's Thurday!

Hey Knick, You should start strategizing now for winter, and exercise... if it is not your favorite season and the thought of exercising is impossible, you should start thinking of how you will keep that momentum going with a huge weather change all coming our way...I love indoor working out on stationary bike, and gym equipment in our garage, my daughter loves to be outside exercising and hates doing it indoors...Soon she will have to have an alternate plan in place so it is still motivating!
Thinking ahead, protecting ketosis and the wonderful feelings you are having...Preparing meals or snacks, putting slim jim's or jearky in the glove box, having water planned out, all of this will keep you organized and happy in ketosis and figuring out what to do about winter is a project to consider.

It's Thursday!! The weekend is almost here. I was tired this morning. Not exhausted like I use to be, but just wanted to lounge. So I did! Felt good. The weather is so nice. I'm hoping I can get the grass mowed before the rain arrives. Doing good on water and foods. Yeah! Hopefully the scale will move this week. I also need to take my inches.

                  Time for more water!

Checking in quick...seems like my days this week have been extra busy so not as much puter time as I would like and not as much house decluttering either. Everything still going good eating wise. Going to the next town to have lunch with my SIL/best friend and Grandma. Will have a chicken ceasar hold the croutons for lunch if they have it. Hope so cause if I order steak and eggs Grandma might have a heart attack....LOL! Anyhow...gotta run.

Be a great day everyone!!!! Until tomorrow....

Hi everyone! I hope everyone does great with their plan today.

Yep Jess, our air is cooler here at night on the West Coast, and it's different to have it dark so early at 8:30 p.m. I love this time of year though, because until Oct. 31st, it's common for us to have high temps in the day at our house of 80F's. Then watch out! The wind and rain may not let up until May. haha Time to get out the down comforter.

I know what you mean about not having to pull your body along. I notice I don't have problems getting off the sofa, and I am never winded now and notice that every day.

Knickknack, Congratulations on your Day 4 and Ketosis.

                        Yes, congratulations to Knicknack!!!

Hi everyone ~ happy Thursday to you all! Today is a beautiful, cool day here in WA. It started off quite overcast & gloomy, and like magic, the wind has blown that all away and i see blue skys outside of my window. We have a ton of pine trees in our backyard, and they always look so pretty against the blue sky.

Not much going on today... i did The Firm this morning and i am happy that it is done for the day. Just errands to do and household chores to accomplish! Boring day...

                        Have a great day everyone!
