  • Saturday, rise and shine!

Okay, I'm cheating.. I"m on my way TO bed. Tonight was girls night out. Whoo hoo. My jeans that I could not wear before starting Atkins.. won't be much longer that I can wear them! The legs are really baggy. I have to jeans that were given to me and I could not wait to get in them. Now they fit and are getting too big. I can tell a difference in my shirts too! Who hooo me!

The scale may not be moving.. but the inches are! I'm so happy. I really think my pilates is doing some good She sure works me over when I do them.

Okay, time for bed.. great night out with the girls. Felt really good to not be all mushed in my clothes and instead have them loose!

Hi Rachel, Wow! That's fantastic your pants are loose and also that you had a great time out with friends.

I'm glad you started this thread last night because I was so tired and went to bed at 10:00. Then I woke up at 2 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep. I stayed in bed until 3 thinking that's almost morning; I can get up. Now it's 4. Time is slow this time of morning. LOL So I'll just read here on ADBB until it's really morning.

Good to hear. I'm still in a foul mood... scale hasn't moved in 4 days, which always pisses me off. Hopefully I'm just resetting for another big loss, but I much prefer a constant pace . We'll see what tomorrow brings I guess. Going to also try upping the intensity of my workout and making sure I'm more strict with my carb counting.

I have lost 4 pounds this week and she has lost 2 and Tom is visiting her...so she is in for a whoosie...

Hey Jess, Sounds like a close call when you and your daughter got lost. Glad you two made it back and hopefully before dark. Quite a few people get lost here in the redwoods, especially during mushroom picking season. Congratulations on this weeks 4 pound loss and your daughter's 2.

Paul, I hope the needle moves very soon for you! Keep going.

                Re: Saturday, rise and shine!

Hi all ~ i'm grumpy today. Got on the scale and i was up a pound... i really wanted to hit 225 tomorrow and i don't think that is going to happen. I'll be lucky if i stay the same weight this week! Looks like i'll be up a half a pound from last Sunday! ACK! My Fitday was perfect all week... i worked out quite a bit more than i have been lately... i don't know what i did wrong...

I'm just venting... I'm a poop today... don't mind me!

Jess, you posted your adventure in my journal and holy cow ~ what a long long long hike you went on! Crazy! You did more than your fair share of working out this weekend, girl! Way to go on having such a great week!

Thanks! I have nights like that too. CAnnot sleep due to ketosis. Then some days I can sleep until 8 and feel like I slept all day

Rachel~ Congrats on the looser clothes! What a great feeling! I think the grumpies are going around everywhere. Ive got them too. Been a long, rough weekend for me. We migt actually have found the house we've been looking for, and ours can go on the market! WAHOO!! Only thing is Im not sure if anything is going on with it....hope nothing is. Anyway, Im giving 110% today because if I can make it through today...it wont be so hard tomorrow.

dragonfly, you might have gained weight from working out more than usual - if you built muscle, etc... Plus, when you work out I believe your body holds onto water more than usual, so it might just be holding on to more water. Don't get discouraged! (And keep working out!)
