  • Question about recipes and counting

    I made a recipe off of Linda's site and have a question.

    How do I count this? I mean, it has tomatoes which go towards my daily veggies.. but how much towards? How much will I still need to eat after having this soup? I don't want to go over, and I don't want to be under.

    It's 4 carbs total per serving, but how do you know how much from each rung?

    Count everything you put in, total it up, then divide by the serving. You're going to have to guestimate a little.

      That's what I was afraid of. Next time I"m just putting one can of rotel, it's too tomatoey. And It needs more substance.. I'm thinking of adding celery, peppers, cabbage even! It's good.. just really watery.

      Okay, I put it in as a custom food - Linda lists all the needed information. Taday! I'm figuring 1 carb for this and that.. so that leaves me plenty of room. I'll probably have another serving for supper.. eating veggies today as snack to make up the difference

        remmeber that was soup so it was supposed to not have lots of substance.
