I have a simple question and I couldn't find it on the boards. I'm sure it's here somewhere, but I'll ask you guys anyway. Can I have pork rinds on my induction? I have eaten them before, but I don't remember. They are 0 carbs, but I don't think they are on the acceptable food list unless you can count that as pork. Anyone know?

    Re: Pork Rinds

Pork rinds are just fried pork skins, so they are pure fat (unless flavored)...they're allowed on induction. Some have said pork rinds stall them, because the sodium can bloat you. So..if you have some, just don't eat too many.

Pork rinds are great all crushed up to make induction legal fried chicken with. Just add some seasoning and dip your chicken in egg, then coat it with the crushed pork rinds. Fry it up in a pan with olive oil or bake. It's SOOOOO GOOD!

Pork rinds are legal, but they are my DOWNFALL. I just cannot snack on them at all and stop. I can use them for breading though. Try taking some plain pork rinds and crush them very fine. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and paprika. Then take fresh mushrooms and dip them in egg. Then, roll them in the pork rind mixture. Then fry those babies. Serve with Ranch and you will be in heaven!

I took a bag of frozen okra, covered with ground pork rinds, added seasoning of choice and put in baking pan sprayed with canola oil, also sprayed a little over okra before place in a 350 degree oven. Let brown and it was delicious. I didn't stir it at all. Just let it brown real good.

I pass mine through the blender and it's very fine. The kids love the hot & spicy ones as a breading on chicken - shake N bake Atkin's style
