  • Helloooo Saturday

Thank you all for your kind words and concern. I did go up a little today, but I think the major loss was because of dehydration and not eating much the night before cuz hubby took my stuff and I had nothing else to make. Belive me the cupboards were bare Anyway, Im at 194.8 today, and feeling good. Im just going to work on my bible study, and relax. I got up early and made breakfast for eeryone since Dh and DD were going out squirrel hunting this morning. Then he has to unexpectedly go to work at 10. So, who knows what the day will bring....but its definatly getting better and easier as each day goes by.

    Re: Helloooo Saturday

Morning. Splitting headache today, I had some absolutely bizarre dreams and didn't sleep well. Today's the last day I'm weighing myself for a few weeks, and I was down a pound and a half to 238. It's going to be really tough not weighing myself but I guess I'll survive!

                Re: Helloooo Saturday

Ya'll are so kind and many of you are "New to me"..so here is my spiel...
                I cannot control weight loss....or I would!
I can only control what I do in a day with food, water and exercise.
I have failed so much more than I have been successful...but I am learning to focus on the only part I can control, which is my responce to this program and my choices with it.
                I drink 100oz a water a day.
I eat induction friendly foods, only
I get up early and plan out the day...Today I have been to a baby shower and ate a huge breakfast right before a left and work thru about 30oz of water while I was there. I mingled away from the food...
I exercise 6 days a week...I started on a bike slowly, working up to 5 miles. I rarely exercise more than 30 mins, but I give it all I have. I alternate between just lower body cardio to upper and lower body...
                I rest 1 day a week.
I completely stay away from anything I cannot handle...I have only eaten out once. I have refused a few party invites...and I don't hang out with anyone I use to drink with, because I don't want that temptation of a few cold beers in my face...
I cannot sign up for a cruise, even tho Paul did...I would not make it.
I am so overly protective of this wonderful place.
I weigh once a week, and only once a week and I focus on other things.
I am just now starting to go live life again and not be totally focused on the diet..
I have my daughter and her program I watch over like a hawk...
Today we discussed having depth, by have two plans or alternatives for everything...
Like if it rains, how will we exercise? What are the plan "B"s in our lives.

If this is the super highway, then I am on it. But, this feels nothing like an expressway. It's a two lane road and I am stuck behind a tractor most of the time...
My committment is to have 4 days out there over the year that I want to get to, and I want to feel certain ways when I get there. The rest of the time, I pull back behind the tractor trailer...and ride along. Dr. A says the longer it takes the better chance of a lifestyle...and being in to habits...
I want this like that, habits, variety of foods, and exercises...
YOu are my amazing STAC friends, and I am so glad to be one of you. I don't want to have to find the TTAC forum for third time around people...

                  Re: Helloooo Saturday

                  Hi All!
Schellie, I'm glad you've reached a point where it's getting easier.

Paul, Yeah! Another 1.5 for you! Sorry about your headache. Darn dreams. Then sometimes they stick with me all day, and I try to figure out if there's a meaning, or why I had it.

Jess, Hey there! You are in onederland! I joined the weigh no weigh challenge too. With all the challenges, I don't have much room for this scale in my signiture.

Stickin2it, You're doing so good with forgetting about the scales. I'm not weighing until the 7th. Then I'll be in the challenge. I'm going to try my best to make it.

Rachele, Have fun at the party. Sounds like a great plan with the pizza and salad.

I have 4 bottles of water lined up here. On to bottle #2.

We waited until noon today for the tree man to come and cut 3 of our trees down...a huge cherry, an apple, and a birch taken half way down. Hubby finally called him, and the guy can't make it. It's a $1,500 job and is going to take 3 days from start to finish, so we planned our life around this, and it seemed like he could have called us. He said he'll be here within a in a few weeks, but no dates. We're going to start looking for someone in the meantime because we doubt they will survive the winds like we had last year, up to 94 mph.

Hey Jamie, thanks for the compliments, I always wanted to be a Mementos...to someone...sweeeeet, no pun intended.
So girl, aren't you glad to finally have that ketosis kick in and calm the cravings down. I love ketosis, I love my little stick, I don't use them much these days, but to know I am burning fat for fuel, dimishing my appetitite annnddddd, cutting back cravings is a very nice thing.
It's been a very long day...I have made it thru a baby shower and a birthday party that was basically a pizza party...I ate nothing there on either occasion...
Just took my little water bottle with me, and only one of my secret blog readers knew what I was up to. The shower this morning has mostly church friends, and one of them is the weightloss guru and she is total WW...which is great, and everybody flocks to her to talk weight and their losses or points...it's fun to watch them...
I like my privacy, and personal success is all i need for now...truly. I am seeking to build a small quiet kingdom where i can just have myself under control, others can seek out the guru!
