  • Jeans!

I have two pair of button and zip jeans that I can wear. One pair is low rise - which are awesome for those of use who are thicker in the middle. They don't cut you in half and give you that muffin top LOL The other pair is a regular ole pair of jeans that cut you off in the middle. Each week I try them on. Last week I tried on regular jeans and they were still too tight. sitting would be really uncomfortable. Today I tried them on and have had them on all day! The legs are getting baggy.. and the waist is loose.. and they fit with room to move in the belly. I don't like them as much as I like my other jeans.. but hey, I CAN WEAR THEM!

Naturally, it's fall and all my spring stuff from last year is fitting now. ACK. I must be odd shaped. By the time stuff fits in my gut it's too big in the legs. Guess they thing people with big guts must have big legs. Not true! My shirt that are more fitted are looking really good too. Also helps that I have a bra that the cups size fits. Again, the band around the body is tight, but the cups fit soo much better. I don't feel all floppy in them. Guess they think women with bigger bodies MUST need bigger cups. NOT true!!

I look forward to the day when my body evens out

    there's my update!

      Re: Jeans!

Rachel, Thanks for the fantastic update. That's soooo cool! Congratulations! And I relate to the muffin top. LOL I have a pair of zipper jeans, and just this week, I did not have to lie down on the bed to get them zipped up! But the week before, I lied down. My little dog was on the bed. I said, "Help mommy get into her jeans." He walked over and put one paw on my shoulder and one on my head and looked me in the eyes as if to say he would help me one more time, but that was it. Smart little guy! LOL

Hooray for fitting into smaller jeans.

I have a pair of size 18s that tease me. I can get them on. I can do them up. But it ain't pretty!

However, when I started Atkins, I couldn't pull them on over my thighs, so there has been progress!

        Keep up the great work!

Congratulations! Jeans are a big deal to me. I don't like the way I look in them, but I plan on buying my first pair in 3 years this fall. I am the black pants lady. I think my friends will pass out when they see me in them. I can't imagine how excited you are. Way to go!
