My cravings are really getting to me. I'm really wanting something cake-like and chocolate. It's driving me insane! During the week it was easy, but right now I'm so hungry. I'm tired of eating meat, cheese, and veggies. I've been very nauseated this week. Yes, I'm whinning a whole lot. I'm just not a fun person to be around right now.

I saw my pdoc today and it turns out I've been suffering from severe depression for the past few weeks. I'm trying a new depression med tomorrow and hopefully it will work okay with my body and the other meds I take.

I just feel like a big fat loser-and not the good kind of loser either. Ugh!!!!!!!

Choclate has some healthy for depression chems in it so lets see if we can come up with some induction safe choclate for you of you really need it. the cocaopowder and cream of Not2late is good but very hard to resist over eating. do yu have some eggs? a beater? cocoa powder? sweetener? an oven? yu could make merangies sp? beatten egg whites with cocoa podwer and sweetner slow baked till dry and crunchie. or you could make some clouds but cut the recipe down cause they too are hard to stop at a serving

I don't see those recipes anywhere. I'm probably just gonna go to bed soon. I hate the beginning of Atkins.

        Hang in there ambi,
It's tough, as you detox, but it will lead you to a much calmer place, and soon you will go into ketosis and some of your cravings will start to subside, and shortly, your mood will improve, and energy will start to rise and you can read receipes and create more enjoyable foods...At first it seems dark, and very very difficult, and Friday Nights don't help any of us either!!! Hang in there!

Hi Ambi, how's it going today? I've been having that wicked craving for chocolate myself! I've gotten through it by making hot chocolate - cream and water, cocoa powder and splenda - in the past. You can make it though, just a little bit longer!
