  • 6 months off the wagon, bought a new wagon now!

I don't know where my head has been for the last 6 months, but I fell off the wagon hard and regained to only about 15 pounds from my original start weight Now I've finally gotten my head back to a space where I can keep it going and get out the door and be active.

Yesterday I took the dog to the park and chased her around for an hour and made my husband and son come along with me. I'm feeling much better this morning when I woke up, so am going to goto the gym today right after work. And it's been a silly thing with the gym right across the street that i haven't gone there since i love going and i have a yearly pass that's collected dust for 6 months! there's $250 right out the window. By god i'm gonna make use of what remains on it!

So every day I'm gonna: eat and drink water properly, take my vitamins, exercise minimum 30 minutes averaging closer to an hour, read the boards here several times a day! I've spent the last 3 weeks kicking my caffeine habit to the curb too! Hooray no more caffeine headaches!. Bye-bye diet pop too - I've almost got that habit gone!

It's such a simple equation to execute, so where motivation had evaporated before, i'm gonna find things to motivate me! I want to give myself the birthday present of having reached my 1st major goal weight by my birthday in may next year, and also get myself incredibly fit in the next 2 years as I'll be building my own house starting then!

My hubby and I want to build an Earthship that is friendy to the environment and generates it's own power and heat. We've always been enthralled by solar & wind power and geothermal heating/cooling, as well as farming our own food. So we're starting the process of getting educated about it and then finding out about our local building codes and getting blueprints made up. i think we'll be 2 years saving money to start the project and getting all the approvals needed to do it, plus find a nice chunk of land to do it on. Ideally it'd be a few acres, with a stream/spring/river and a hill and some amount of trees. Lots of places like that around here! we're gonna sit down with the people from Earthship Biotech and get some serious learning done to help us along. If i'm gonna do 4-5000 rammed earth tires by hand with a sledgehammer for the walls i better be in tip top shape!
