The day is halfway over, and it just dawned on me that it's my two week mark today! Things are going well -- with the exception of one slight fallback over the weekend. I went to a concert and drank a few alcoholic beverages, but got right back on the wagon the next morning. I'm sure that it stalled my weightloss, but there was no gain, which is good.
I'll be getting my exercise bike back this week (I loaned it out to my dad after his knee surgery) which is good, because it's going to be a long cold winter, and I need some easy exercise that I can do at home while my kiddos are asleep. I'm looking into a few videos too. Perhaps I'll rejoin my Pilates class on Monday nights.
I got my first compliment this weekend! One of my friends noticed that I had lost some weight (not to mention that my skin looks fabulous!) which just made my night. Although I did have some alcohol -- I cheated smartly, passing up high-carb beer in lieu of lower carb vodka. I'm feeling comfortable with the way I've been eating, so I'm not planning on making any changes, accept perhaps to increase my veggies. Planning on making some Pumpkin soup this weekend. yummmmm.

Oh yeah, isn't the good skin a bonus? I'm loving that too.
