    Good morning STACers, it's Tues...and raining in the So East...
    No worries, I have an indoor exercise plan and an outdoor exercise plan.

    Last night our family watched FitTv, and there was show on hosted by Melissa Rivers...She sends new exercise equipment to a couple or a person and askes them to use it for a month to achieve exercise goals...One of the people highlighted did Tae Bo's Bootcamp Workout...It was grueling! The guy did it for a month and lost 13 lbs...and then Billy Blanks came by to meet him...
    He said something to the camera, "Where ever you are, your mind has led you here, (your mind can lead you to success, or failure, it all depends on how you think and act!)" I thought about it for a moment, here is this guy who turns to the camera and could say, "hey my product is great, go buy one and do what this guy did, but He did not He addressed the core ingredient of success, He knows it's not the product but rather the heart and mind and decisions that lead us...

    What's your head saying to you to do...I heard rain drops, and my mind was seeking to find a way to get all my exercise in. My mind was plotting and planning for my kid's exercise...seeking to fulfill today's goals...
    I can do this today, regardless of the weather! Rain or snow, we should all have a plan, and our minds can take us right thru it.

    Tuesday! Whoo hoo! I am about to go exercise so that will be one more day under my belt. It hard to hear me say I'm actually enjoying exercising. I just feel so much better when I do. Okay, enough chatting, getting in my exercise and then I'll come back and read the rest of the board Gotta love that "mind set." You're right, Jess. It's all in your mind and heart!

      Rachel, I'm with you about exercise. Yesterday my bf picked me up from work and I was bored. I kept saying "bored."....."bored"....."bored".... because I was in this godawful boredom zone that I get in sometimes. But, we went to the gym and after the gym I felt about 9 zillion times better. so yay!

      But.

      I am in a bad mood today.

      I woke up really really really tired.
      It is POURING rain outside, and really gross and dark
      I couldn't find the right shoes to wear (i stayed at my bf's house)
      I had to wear my boots that have NO traction, and make me slip in the rain
      My bf threw away the bag that had the grippy thingies I had bought to put on my boots. He is ALWAYS throwing my stuff away or moving it. Drives me nuts.
      I forgot my lunch
      I forgot my keys
      Had to go back and get them.
      Did I mention that it's pouring rain?
      My bf was rushing me this morning, thus why I forgot everything.

      Bah. It's gonna be one of those days. Hmmph!

        You must be to the East of me! Get ready for a deluge!! I'm sorry you are having a rough start to your day. Hopefully, once the day gets rolling it will improve

          Knickknack, sorry you are having such a bad morning... hope things start to look up

          Jess, you are right... we lead ourselves here and we can lead ourselves to where we want to go...just have to want it bad enough and then just do it!

          Rachel, it is nice to see someone who likes to exercise...hope I will be the way someday!

          For me, I am happy to get back to my routine today! The last 2 days were crazy and mostly a blur... Sunday was bad...was on the road most the day moving boxes up to in-laws (they live in the town we are moving to). So I had to eat both breakfast and lunch on the road... think I did ok, but probably too much sodium and not enough water for the day TOM is late... 5 days now and no, I am not pregnant! Just wish it would get here because I know I am holding onto weight because of it!!! Anyway, cooked a bunch of dishes yesterday and I am ready for the week of good foods and exercise

            Complaining about rain? Bah! It's been snowing here since yesterday! Talk about slippery.

            I hope today is a better day than yesterday. It was a really tough day for my school yesterday--two of our students were involved in a car accident this weekend, one has passed away, and the other will be paralyzed if he survives. Most of the students found out yesterday when they arrived, as did the teachers. I was pretty numb all day, it still doesn't seem real. I just hope that maybe this tragedy will make other kids think twice about their behavior.

            Well, on a lighter note, I feel pretty good this week, even though I have to weigh myself on Fri. morning and my TOM will be here tomorrow! My boyfriend said I looked thinner yesterday than I even did this weekend--so maybe my ravenous hunger from Fri-Sun was just my metabolism going into overdrive. I have water aerobics tonight, but I'm doing this really intense swimming workout instead. I know I won't be able to lift my arms tomorrow! I am looking forward to it. Working out always makes me feel better when I'm upset or stressed.

            OK...have a good Tuesday, everyone!

              We had over 3 to 5 inches in one day and 3 to 6 expected yesterday. I haven't heard how much we officially received. That's a lot of water in a very short time. Flash flooding and tornado warnings were everywhere. We had wind gusts of up to 60 mph too! Not too fun when you are living in a portable building. YIKES! I'll take watching snow fall any day LOL

              Stick - well.. I don't really LIKE to exercise.. I just like the results it gives I like the feeling afterwards. Knowing that I did something good for my body, mind and soul... and it only takes minutes a day. I spend more time deciding what to wear than it takes me to exercise. It will come for you too. Find something you like and do it!

                Rachel- I cannot wait until we move because I am going to finally start roller blading again... it is the one exercise that I love to do...and cannot do where we live now! Also, my hubby bought me a treadmill for xmas last year, which is my main exercise right now. But it gets so boring...and I have not had any time with all the packing, cleaning and travelling, moving stuff... at least I was moving around and not sitting! But I still need to get some real exercise in!

                  You ARE exercising But I know what you mean. The treadmill hurts my shin splints something aweful. heck, crank up the radio and dance away - any movement just adds more energy

                    I love exercise. I have to make myself rest on the rest day...I could over do it all the time...It's just such a boost and the endorphins really make life zing.
