    Today is a short day--we get out at 1pm so the whole school is excited for that! It has stopped snowing, but the temperature is colder than it was before...grr there goes our energy bill...I can see it growing as I type.

    No really big plans today. Going to take a walk if weather allows, and boyfriend and I are going to see The Grudge 2--we're suckers for movies like that. We saw The Departed on Sun. and it was REALLY good!

    OK well have a great Wednesday, and drink your water!

        Hi STAC team... sorry i've been so quiet ~ it has been crazy busy around here. I'm still here and sticking with it though! Portland was great last week & we had a great time. This week is all about packing, packing... and more packing! We leave for Chicago & PA next Sunday... and when we come back we have the house closing! Phew... so much to do...

          hi everyone!

          poofiness from the weekend is gone. Escaped unscathed from dinner at my boyfriends parents house. I skipped the potatoes and lasagna, and went with the green beans and salad. I did have to have some corn since they made it special for me (not sure why), but there was so much food on my plate that I left most of it. I couldn't believe how much food they piled on my plate!

          Feeling really tired today, I'm wondering if I'm going through the flu a bit. Yesterday I could hardly move I was so tired. Hard to say, I hope not!

            Checkign in! I'm off today, so I spent all morning cleaning and laundry. WHY do we have so much darn laundry?? good grief!

            Anyways... today is good. Half my water is down. I had cukes for breakfast and I'm about to have some shrimp and a fish.. not sure on the veggie.. may wait until later for one.

            I also exercised already! I'm sooo on the countdown for Sunday to weigh in! I am just so ready to see a drop! I have tested with strips on and off this week to make SURE I am in ketosis.. and I am! So there WILL be a loss. I still could kick myself when I think I wasted an entire month out of ketosis. I also think I'm gonna stay on extended induction for a good bit longer to ensure I look/feel good for the wedding in March! We'll see how it goes.

            Did I mention I was excited for Sunday??

                Sunday is weigh day for the No Weigh Challenge people! I am excited too. I did cheat once on that scale...and yes we had pizza last night (read my journal) but I think it will be ok. I really feel good about myself so who cares what the scale says! (As long as it doesn't go uP!!!!!)

                  TammyJo - I read that and couldn't help but really feel the pain. I did that too off and on the first time I did Atkins. This time around I'm trying to work through those types of things before a cheat happens. What made me want to go back to foods I KNOW will cause me to feel crappy? Why would I be drawn to feeling crappy? Why do I want to sabotage myself and all my hard work? Why am I turning to food to chill or cope or whatever? I can tell you it has been a real eye opener for me. I no longer want to turn to food for comfort. I turn to hubby, friends, exercise, journaling or .. FEELING the feeling. I have had a few days of feeling the feeling.. it was so scary and after it was over it was really not as bad as I thought. I feel so much better knowing food no longer controls me like it did. I dunno if I'll ever be totally free of it's grip.. but for now it's not as tight

                  I'm so glad you realized it wasn't as good as you thought it was gonna be and don't wanna feel like that anymore! You are doing so good! Keep it up!

                    I already cheated on the scale challenge... I couldn't help it, i was sure i'd whooshed and couldn't not look. :P (I did, i lost two pounds!). But i made it until today, so that's still good right? :P

                      Oh Sunday is when we quit, NOT LOOKING at the scales..I completely forgot when that whole thing ended...Rachel, I told you I walked away from the evil powers of the scales..It's been such a blissful 10 days or so, gosh not even thinking about weightloss, just having a good ol time!!!
                      Caitlin and I just went to our Collins Hill Trail, and jogged more than walked...we are soaked and dirty..I wanted to go again...ended up putting in 2 hard miles in and on hills...I hear exercise reverses age!!!! take me back to 40!!!!

                          JOGGED?? Amazing! I'm still have a ways to go before I can job. We watched the Biggest Loser and that guy was jogging at 300+ pounds! My son was like 'SEE MOM.. SEE.. CMON MOM.. YOU CAN DO IT!" lolol Uhmm.. no.
